This channel hosts videos about topics connected with the use of humanoid robots in education. It is fed by two projects financed by the German Ministery of Education: H.E.A.R.T. (Humanoid Emotional Assistant Robots in Teaching), where robots are used as educational partners, and RoboPraX, where humanoid robots are used as tools for the improvement and manifestation of algorithmic thinking. All videos in this channel are licenced as CC BY.
Task with a virtual robot – NAO moves its hands
The RoboPraX team presents a task including a model solution for the virtual NAO robot V6 in the software Choregraphe (version 2.8). In the task, the robot should open or close its hands when certain hand sensors are touched. The application can always be terminated by touching the head sensor.
All you need is a computer or laptop and the software Choregraphe. Choregraphe 2.8 can be downloaded free of charge using these links:

Starting in 2018, the team H.E.A.R.T. (www.project-heart.de) has been developing an application for their Pepper robot YUKI that allows students to enter into a dialogue about their performance in the fully digitized linguistics classes offered via the Virtual Linguistics Campus (www.linguistics-online.com). The result is the student advisor app as shown in this video.

Hello, is it possible to do this with dialog boxes instead of say boxes? I'm trying to have a dialog option to switch the language. (I.e "let's speak german now" and then the robot switches to german). Many thanks.

Was sind die Vorteile eines humanoiden Roboters im Unterricht gegenüber einem iPad? (Abgesehen von der Kostenfrage). Sind es psychologische Aspekte, die den Robotereinsatz begünstigen? :)
Es entsteht eine persönliche Beziehung/emotionale Bindung zwischen Roboter und Mensch, die mit einem Laptop, Tablet oder Smartphone nie zustande kommt. Ein gemeinsames Foto mit Robotern? Gern. Mit einem Laptop? ... :(. Details unter www.project-heart.de
Educational Robotics Das ist wirklich super interessant. Im ersten Moment denkt man gar nicht darüber nach. Nüchtern betrachtet, kann ein Laptop Unmengen mehr als der Pepper, da auch die zusätzliche Peripherie (Tastatur, Trackpad) vorhanden ist. Auch das Betriebssystem ist sicher von der Benutzung intuitiver, aber die Psychologie ist hier wohl wirklich nicht zu unterschätzen. Spannend, ob sich das mit der Zeit relativiert oder die Roboter ein Bestandteil der neuen Geräte, nach der Smartphone Ära etc., sein werden.
