This is Bandipur Forest department cottages. Travel time from Bangalore is around 5-6 hours. Booking can be made in their website bandipurtigerreserve.org/index.php
Trying since an year, not getting tickets to book FRH Dhikala from its site All the tickets get book the moment the window is opened Seems like a scam and fraud in tie up with 3rd party or external people who organize safaris
@@ThanosDaVinci Getting Dhikala is a real challenge and definitely going through an agent will work better. 2.5 lakh people trying to book 10-15 cottages is never easy
First off all you should not go out at night and make a lot of movement noise. I have seen 4 leopards crossing harini 2 and then leopard next to the net wall. It is unsafe to go out absolutely. They can hear even a pin is dropping and finds their path away. It is a luck. Last time few elephants broke the wall in the lobby and a family was staying there. You can enjoy everything being in the baranda itself. While I went to call my driver from Harini 2 to dormitory I heard roaring hard roaring sound at morning 6:30am. Its absolutely thrilling but safety first.

@@pramodnagesh3701 You can book your safari from the below official website. Please read the ticket window rule of 120 days which is non cancellable and 60 days window rule properly n before booking. Core zones are Moharli and Kolara but they are far apart so stay has to be booked accordingly. Tadoba buffer zones are also very good for tiger sighting so you can check out those as well mytadoba.mahaforest.gov.in/wildlife-safaris

Hi Naba, i am a fan of your's videos on wildlife. Planning this year december to go Nagarhole for 2 days, would appreciate if you could guide me for a stay/accomodation near Nagarhole. Is Gangotri Forest rest house still open to be booked as i don't see this accomodation in the portal. Also would I need to book safari through forest department portal or there are other ways to book? Also would you suggest a stay in JLR Kings Sanctuary and taking safari that they provide under package. Will wait for your reply. Thanks in advance.
Hi Sudipta. First of all thank you so much. Gangotri cottage is closed for renovation and there is no timelines from the FD on when it will reopen. You can book JLR jeep safari online using the below link if you are not staying in JLR in any homestay in Kutta. Book the safari from Nanchi gate (NC) www.junglelodges.com/activity/safari/ Staying in JLR Kings Santuary is a good option and it comes with 1 jeep safari. If you need one more safari, then you need to pay extra
