i have the exact same bike, over here in AB, put my down payment on and got the portal to complete the order today. so... i went with the Go++, the arm on the sensor like you have, the throttle and no brake sensors... I take it you ordered the 622 rim as our bikes have 28 inch rims, with tires, they are 29 i guess.... So for the sensor, why didnt you cut all the tabs off and move the disc further away as the sprocket is tapered and there are two bolts on the universal arm to hold it in place, then no cutting or shaving of the electrical pickup? do you think that may have worked for you? And did you have an option of a black rim, I only have one... silver. yuk. my bike is all black but i can spray paint it like all the natives in edmonton do stolen bikes at the tent cities I guess....

thanks for the honest review, and researching Swytch. as said 50%, comes with a wait. I am deciding if I want one and wait till Fall of 2024. 2 kits Ez-rider goes for around $669.99 Am sure shipping is included, while another person is charging for shipping, or Swytch. both are clean kits but Swytch looks Thinner and a replacable battery, I need to decide if an Ebike kit is really worth the purchase.

im from b.c and 1 hour from vancouver (chilliwack b.c). this would be alright for me but i bought an e-scooter that gets me from chilliwack to abbotsford on one charge ,hang with fam or friends for 6 hours then ride home all in one day. but going to a city/town close to me (agassiz) i can go there and back aslong as i walk i tover the bridge lol, but on the other had its kinda a hard ride with only the front shocks like your bike.

Seems like the team D is coming together again to dominate like what we saw in late 2023. Especially encouraging to see Ehlers make the right plays. We will have good chances in the playoffs if they can keep this up!

Randomly found your video in my recommended. Some good breakdowns! At 2:47, I don't believe that's Hellebuyck's thinking. It's pretty rare for goalies to "show it and take it away." He comes across laterally from his left to right and then tries to bump off the post to come to the top of the crease. He actually misses the push off the post and scrambles to just make himself as large as possible and get hands in front. He got kinda lucky on that one, but gotta be good to be lucky and lucky to be good 😉

Defensemen who are aggressive and who pinch aot are going to get caught, that's the age old young and yang of offensive defensemen, when they pinch in sometimes it works out but not all the time, it's chancey.

Jets have been monsters 5 on 5 this year. If we can get our PP and PK to at least the league average I think it will be nucks/jet in the WC final.

Found this review because I'm just fitting my Swytch kit. I got it to work and it does seem to be effective. A few points. Agree with you that it isn't simple to fit and although my bike may be 'standard' quite a few bits needed some fiddling to get them to fit - the pedal sensor is a bit of a PITA. It may be the way I've fitted it or some other factor but when I stop pedaling there seems to be a fair bit of resistance from the hub? I am going to check to see if the disc brakes are not seated right. I bought one of the twist throttles however I can now see that fitting that will interfere with the gear change mechanism on the handle bar so that my now be superfluous. The kit itself does seem to be of a high standard. I hope it lasts.

I don't see how a company like swytch can have all the right parts for your bike without some mods you have to do to make it work.

Warning about the Swytch kit. Mine arrive in the usual 6 months or so. Was not worried about that. Loved the kit but 11 months in the battery died (Within the warranty period) I did some tests they asked me to do and they said it was the bracket. They sent that about 5 months later and it didn't fix it. They got me to do the tests again and with the same results as the first time they diagnosed it as the power pack. by this time I had spoke to about 10 different people who didn't seem to have any knowledge about prior conversations. The latest rep said it didn't happen within the warranty period and that they couldn't send the battery to Sweden because it was 'Dangerous Goods'. After more frustrating back and forth someone higher up the chain apologised and said they would send it within 48 hours and that I would get it within two weeks. That was 6 weeks and 3 emails ago. So it's been 11 months since my bike broke and I've spent more money on public transport than the kit cost me in the first place. Wish I could get my money back but I'm stuck in no mans land waiting for this company to fulfill the minimum requirements of it's warranty agreement. I'm considering taking legal action but I'm honestly so tired of talking with them that their wear down approach of incompetence might overcome. Loved this product so much. Recommended it to lots of friends who now have kits and I hope this doesn't happen to them.

I had the same experience in ordering and receiving. Ordered in Jan 3023. Initially promised for April 2023. We planned a Georgia Mountains RV trip late June anticipating having the kits. Delays resulted in delivery promises by June 15. One kit arrived but the other received after we had departed the trip, coming in July. Response by Swytch is in the worst category, after a long non-existent category and then terse and wholly did satisfactory. They also blatantly lie or misstate things at their whim. This is a horribly managed company at best. I would never ever order from them again. I hope the product works. It’s far beyond the span of paying on the card to challenge the purchase and return everything. Likely part of their plan. Nice video. 🙏🏻 We are in Florida USA

The two identical pieces are actually not. One set is thicker. Which one you use is dependant on the space between the pedal and the frame hub (It mentions this in the instructions). If less than 2mm, you don't use the inserts, just the sensor. You don't have to cut out the pieces in between. They compact when you sandwich it all together and put the C clip on. I also have the same issue with the sensor reader, thought.

I bought a nice looking e bike a Wal-Mart for $650 a year ago paid exra for a full 4 year warranty still riding it goes 20 mph Thumb throttle or pedal assist settings only cost around a Grand with warranty and tax free shipping took under a week also bought a pedal assist only bike from there for around $ 400 and free return shipping if needed

Don't go with Swytch. They cannot deliver their product. My kit was supposed to arrive in March 2023. When it didn't arrive by April, I opened my first support ticket. Swytch told me the order was delayed due to the warehouse taking inventory for 2 weeks. The order tracking page was updated to show a mid-April expected delivery. 2+ weeks later and no update - so I opened my second support ticket. This time I was told that the warehouse was backed up and could not ship more that 180 units per business day and that they sold 5000 units. The tracking page was updated to show an early May expected delivery. Another 3 weeks went by with no updates so I opened my third support ticket and was told to be patient that the delivery was further delayed. I looked today and the expected delivery is now mid-June. After waiting 9 months to just place an order, I am now waiting another 9 months after giving them my money - and delivery is delayed over and over.

this is an old video... the kit is much different... and it is a more mature company... I just received my kit today after ordering it September of last year... this was the expected time for delivery... as for the zip ties... best way to do it... and it says in the New Manuel to remove the clip for the sensor... and there is a more positive mount for the part on the crank... better review... ruclips.net/video/7xA9JrW6VpY/видео.html

I had the same issue with my sensor clearance, I'm less handy but more crafty so i used beading wire and glue to string it in the space between my down tube and seat post, basically crossed my fingers that the target would line up with the magnets. My kit took a whole year to arrive in Canada. There was an issue with disk brake clearance, the new wheel sat differently in the fork than my old one. Despite the trouble I must say my first ride with the kit was really fun, I love how light the kit is! Only been on it twice but so far I love the results, hoping it continues to be a great investment

DO NOT BUY A SWYTCH KIT until you have read this! After 4 handlebar mounts, 2 batteries and a visit to their East London workshop, my bike is still not working. In fact, the second battery died after 3 weeks. After a video call with the service team one month later, another month later and I am still waiting for this new battery. So, I have a useless Switch kit on my bike. DO NOT BUY! You will spend so much time waiting for someone to get back to you. I estimate I have spend at least 30 extra hours over one year trying to get Swytch to accept that right from the start the kit did not work properly. In fact, some of the behaviours from the kit were downright dangerous on busy roads, this included heavy shaking from front wheel and more recently, before totally breaking down, the battery would speed up real fast and then stop. CROW3936079DOX The concept is interesting but the service system is overloaded meaning that they have loads of people coming back with faults and/or issues. The service team is only available by email, that means that it takes days for them to respond, usually by email suggesting a number of tests. You then have to do the tests and respond to that email and wait for their response. They might send you a new part, in my case the cheapest, meaning that you spend more time fitting and testing this new part. And, if you are lucky, it might be just fine then. My kit had a 50km battery size. Swytch are now offering new battery size for 15 km and 30 km kits in order to provide smaller batteries at a time when others are offering 100 km bikes. OK ,these bikes are more expensive and have integral batteries. I think their new kits are only useful for occasional rides rather than being used for commuting every day with the 15 km being little more than a toy.

Thanks for this! My experience of Swytch has been awful. They have had my money for two years. I'm still waiting for a 9mm MTB wheel. 61 emails later I'm having to threaten legal action to get my money back

Good review. Your problems has been encountered by other people, missing parts in the kit and bad experience with the support. I'd want to purchase One but my Heart Is not so strong .... 😂 Sorry for my bad english 😂

I had the same connection issues. Problem I had is that my commute to work had lots of bumps from tree roots under the pavement so I just bought short length bungee cords on Amazon to strap the battery secure. Good honest review, thank you..all the way from 🇬🇧👍

I purchased this kit and really regret my decision. Swytch has not made an effort to resolve to many customer’s issues (such as receiving kits with missing parts, receiving the wrong wheel size, having the battery totally die or other components malfunction after a few rides, or not receive their kit at all). They have responded publicly on social media and on customer review sites, most likely to save face, but have not actually resolved these issues, and have completely stopped communicating with many of us, to the point that people are questioning if they are even still in business. It took 8 months to receive my kit, during which time Swytch was (and still currently is) advertising an 8 week turnaround to new customers, knowing that there was a severe backlog. The wheel I received is not universal, and does not fit my bike’s dropout slots. After contacting Swytch about this I was sent to another online order portal, with an estimated 8 week turnaround time for the correct wheel. Knowing that the last ‘8 week shipment date from order’ with this company ended up being 8 months, I requested a refund... and 2months later am still waiting for them to respond back. Overall, this has been a time consuming and frustrating experience. It doesn't matter how good or bad this kit is if you never receive it.
