    Wtf is this all that for just a crestor . I dont really do that everything that she mentioned is on the notice and allergies form crestor and brown pee is soooo rare I dont even have to warn the patient about that. Every medecine has its bad effects. So if the patient feel a strange thing after taking medecine it should immediately stop and call their doctor or pharmacist

    well done and very professinal Ideal pharmacist, but in Reality does Pharmacist has time to go over all these necessary and unnecessary Q. and follow up ??? plus as far as I know, Flovent is for age 12 and up. the child's age is 5 years old.

    Should we only choose one option? Refer or sell? The pharmacist referred the child to the doctor and also recommended a product to sell?

    People in the comments being like, “too many questions”, we have to ask them to get the points. There’s basic questions we must ask to get a general understanding and make sure we haven’t missed anything.

    A lot of useless questions and not enough probing into the actual problem (is the child very irritable or in moderate-severe discomfort?). Additionally, the child was 5 years old and is a great candidate for "watchful waiting" because the ear ache/infection is most likely viral and NOT bacterial. Since the fever was only 1 day in, It would have been better for the pharmacist to recommend taking the Tylenol for 1-2 more days before suggesting an MD visit.

    • @jaspreetsidhu5708
      @jaspreetsidhu5708 3 года назад

      Not really, there are two red flags in this scenario. The first one being the high fever (39), references say 40 but you'll never be docked marks for suggesting that they go see a physician, the second being ear pain (indicative of a possible ear infection), and the child is slightly irritable (another referral). Watch and wait would be appropriate if the fever was mild 37.5-38.5, no irritability, no LOC, child is not reporting stiff neck etc, child is maintaining proper fluids, no vomit etc. At that point monitor for a period of 24 hours (if the fever is unresponsive then at that point go to emerg or doctor), if it's responding and the child is getting better but it's 48 hours and still no major changes then go see the GP.

    The last recommendation was enough from the begining... you're child is sick, his ear is sore: GO SEE A F%U%KING DOCTOR.

    Great counseling! If a pharmacy has a room or a space that insures privacy and opportunity to engage in this conversation its amazing! Not the case in majority central european pharmacies. You simply don't have the time.

    one thing I'd like to add is that it might be better if pharmacist could tell patient what exactly 7.5ml is, say one and half teaspoonful may more easy to understand from patient point of view?
