Finding base-station
Impressive how it finds the base station and charge……not!
It worked before, a couple of times at least. But seems to get dumber or something.

New uppdaterad 20230524 Even before the update it today started to return to the home base automatically without any fails. The app stoped working after update of the app but not updated the robot, now the robot updated automatically and the app works again. It’s getting better! Video in 2x speed
Vision Landroid vision, avoids gravel road

Bought the robot 6days ago. Has not been an easy start. Still having problem with identifying high grass and some edges. Had to place wooden boards as boundaries so the robot doesn’t run away och fall down a steep. Made a lot of adjustments in the yard. Did cut the grass and trimmed it along the sides so the robot easier can “see” differences. Had to change the Wi-Fi ssid to no åäö or Wi-Fi did...

It's designed to cut grass, not to tear down the Amazon.
with any product the specs are key this unit is rated at Maximum slope 17° (30%) so this problem is just someone using it out of spec
Yeah, but because it’s supposed to be smart I would have programmed it to stop trying and take another route instead of keep trying on the same spot. Both because it should see the hi grass and because of the slope.
Weed whacker, Bubba.
This is not a problem - read the man ual your gras is way too high at this point for the robot...
That’s the point, it should calculate it as a border and turn.
I don’t want it to cut the grass, I want it to read it as a border
You’re meant the cut the grass and then use the robot to keep it short. It’s called mulching.
In this case it’s too steep for the mower so I want the mower to read the hi grass as a border.
You're right, I think that grass did make the Landroid high.
😂
I have a solution for you
You must upgrade your wheels
I don’t want it to climb the hill, I want it to turn, without building a fence or buying more magnetic strips.
@@jcjacobssonI have a similar situation. I did end up creating a boundary. Even if you cut the grass. That hill may be too steep.
Idiot 🤣🤣🤣
You have to place it at the edge of the lawn so he drives against the clock back in it
It’s going against clockwise and turned to the base. Apparently it’s blinded by the sun, according to the support. But I moved it to a mother place in the shadow and same result, it just won’t see the QR-code anymore.
Have you solved this yet? Have you also checked the lens so it's not dirty? It looks like it should be the perfect place for the station. Even though I think there's a risk, it can find a way even further in under the deck. What if you have a plank along the side of the station so it has something more distinct to follow?
that was funny how it stopped and turned to avoid that dandelion... obstacle avoidance looks like it works great just needs to be trained to not avoid the weeds 😂
Exactly! Or make it an option of what to avoid and not.
@@jcjacobsson I have the LUBA robot mower and sometimes it would avoid tall weeds as well, but they have different obstacle avoidance sensitivity levels now and it's not an issue anymore.
That seems smart yes.
Is it supposed to just abruptly stop the way it is in this video? It almost looks like it's being impeded, or it's seeing something that isn't there. I've got a Landroid which obviously keeps going in one direction until it hits an obstacle or the boundary wire, but this looks to be almost completely random.
I actually think it sees the flower and turn to avoid it. Way I don’t know. There’s is no option like, save flowers.
Hi! Does your Worx Vision drive through this path made of concrete slabs/stones and mow the grass between?
Hi, I answered your question in the other clip. No it doesn’t, and there is no way to do so

Hi! Does your Worx Vision drive through this path made of concrete slabs/stones and mow the grass between?
Hi, sorry for late answer. No it does not, don’t think there is a way to do so either. It sees it as a borderline and turn.
Does it not work good ?
I had a lot of patience, but now It’s gone. It get trapped in unexplainable places, now days it just go right pass the homestation to. It finds the home maybe 1/5 times.
Hello guys! Does the wifi has to cover the whole yard or the base station area is enough?
Wi-Fi is only for updating the firmware and connecting with the app. So to do so the robot has to be in Wi-Fi range.
Vision models are just for perfectly shaped gardens. Even better if it is rectangular and all walkways are in straight line.
I need to make some more modifications of my yard but otherwise it seems to work now. Where did you get that info?
@Jimmy Jakobsson I have the M600. I am currently trying to resell it with a minimum loss. Even with a perfectly shaped yard this robot will leave apox 7 inch of grass at the edges.
This model only works on a perfect shaped garden. you need a wire guided one.
Maybe, but I haven’t given up yet. Need a little more garden fixing and then I believe it will handle my garden.
@Jimmy Jakobsson And then it still leaves about 7 to 8 inch untouched from the edge.
@@jcjacobsson try the magnetic strips to fence of the high grass areas or cut it down
It's not made for high grass.
@@user-ct7vo5gj2f but I thought and think it should see the high grass and the AI would understand it’s a border
Hey, would you recommend the machine then?. It looks like the firmware updates are coming thick and fast and are improving the robot considerably
My opinion so far is that if you doesn’t have a to ruff lawn and have clear boundaries or easily can adjust the lawn too make them clear. Then, yes it seems to do what it supposed to. My lawn if too hard for it, some of the places it stops I guess any ordinary robot would, but with a lot of fixing with fences and rocky borders (doesn’t want the magnetic strip everywhere), I actually think it could manage this as well. But too early too say though, I only had it for one week.
How did you downloaded the new firmware, I updated the app on the 23/5 sins the the app doesn't have contact with the mover, how did you do 👍
The mower updated itself. Even if the app didn’t speak to the mower the mower still had Wi-Fi. I put it close to the router though for faster connection.
@@jcjacobsson if I put the mower close to my wifi is there any button to push to download the firmware, in my att it says that is a new update push to instal but the app don't connect to the mower
I figured out how to finally connect to my wifi. My problem was that my SSID (the name of my wifi network) contained special characters. After renaming my network I could use the app and QR code to get my mower to connect to my wifi.
@@wolfeye78 hello. It was the same for me. And now it works. Have a great weekend my friend 😊
I had the same issue after the app update yesterday and was super close to raise a support ticket as also the mower told me it has no wifi connection. All of a sudden it then got the firmware update and connection is working again. I sent the mower right into exploring mode, but this ended up very disappointing. It got stuck two times at a position which was no issue with the previous firmware. At another larger brown spot it turned in circles and finally gave up without finishing exploring.
Yeah, the exploring part has never fully worked for me either. It never did the whole yard, but after a couple of errors it suddenly find the home and then starts cutting. I guess you could trick it past places where it gets stuck and help it find home. Now, today it found it’s way home several times.
Wait, did it stop and change course because of that flower?
Don’t know if it’s because of the flower, but maybe, it makes this turn from time to time, could be to avoid going in the same lines?
You can change that in the app, save flowers or destroy them 😉
Aha, er ist also deutlich schneller geworden 😂
😂😂😂👍
😂 yes that’s what the firmware did, awesome right 😉
It’s a slope yes but it still should see the grassborder and turn. When not high grass it do make this leaning of slopes, even if it’s more than it supposed to handle.
The manual says specifically that slope should be less than X degrees, otherwise, you should use the magnetic stripe to mark it. Also the robot is not designed to handle grass higher than 9cm. I used a regular lawnmower first to remove all high grass before starting using the robot. So far so good
Well the problem isn’t that I don’t cut it, I’m not expecting it to do so. I want it to turn, instead of trying to move forward.
@@jcjacobsson How long have you been using the vision? It will take a few days to learn where the lawn border line is and it will be “trapped” from time to time. It was a bit frustrating initially as you need to keep resetting it manually, but it will eventually “remember” the border and mow smoothly.
@@jcjacobsson For quick resolution, you can get extra magnetic strips to mark the border where there is high grass as if you use the strips as the border wire. But this defeats the purpose of getting the vision. Just let it learn via the vision.
Just ordered one if these I’m in the US and it will be our first experience with an air tent . It just shipped and should be here sometime next week That’s so much for the videos . I’m still hoping it will come with instructions, would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous.
Hope everything was fine, have you tried it out yet?
@@jcjacobsson we took it out a few weeks ago and it was very nice, easy to set up, unpack and pack back up, loved having the extra room. It even rained part of our trip 0 water got in , very happy and was definitely worth the wait.
Any tips on packing this away? Do you fold it length or width wise? Just put it up quickly today for a nosey and was heavy to work with pulling it about
I just follow the instructions, length wise and the first fold to the orange strap and then folding it the same length. But after the final fold I roll it width wise instead of folding. It helps to have a partner of course but you could do it on your own. When putting it in the bag I put the bag over the tent and kind of roll it in instead of trying to lift it into the bag. It’s big and heavy to lift.
What do you think on this? I've got the woodlake 7atc but fancy this next.
We had it for two years now and are very pleased. Takes 25min to pack if clean from everything else and is very easy to put up. We had it for 5 campsites and up in the garden for the kids several times.
How do you like it?
So far so good 😊 just had it one season, hopefully there will be a couple of weeks this year as well. Thinking of buying the vestibule extension.
Hi there! Thank you for the video! Do you like this tent? Is it suitable for cold weather ? Is it wind resistant? Can it withstand heavy rain? Thanks a lot!
Hi. Haven’t used it in cold weather, tried it though in early spring with a electric heater, and it kept the warm. It has bin some nights with heavy rain, but we kept dry and felt safe. Don’t have any experience with wind so far, but the straps and Polens fels realtid sturdy. Really easy to put up and take down, but fills the whole trunk of our car so a roofbox is a must. I hope my answers helpt you some. Take care.
I have the 401 TC in this model. The 601 is huge. lol
Yeah I know, but I don’t regret it, had to buy a car roof box though for all the things we have in the tent 😂
I'd sell a ball for this tent
If your ball worth 2.500$, you could :)
