If I remember correctly Golden Brown was picked up from second coming melody. It’s a pretty nice bass line on this and reminds me of David Steele who was bassist for the Beat & Fine Young Cannibals. Well played as ever!
Yeah, they wanted another bit for Second Coming so Dave wrote the keyboard part GB, obviously it didn't fit the album or song so it turned into GB. Thanks Dave

Nice one. I put my own cover of this up a couple of weeks ago but I'm a novice bass player and I really wasn't sure if I'd deciphered this one correctly or not. Thanks for basically confirming that I'd sort of got it right even though I don't read music and just play by ear. Cheers. 👍
No problem. Since you started making videos I've been watching them aswell. You're post La Folie covers are really good but I think for the earlier songs you should use a more trebley tone. Still sound really good though. 😁
@@theravenofgenetix1979 Thanks man. That really means a lot to me from someone who is so talented. Gives me great encouragement to carry on & persevere. I have a very simple setup with a 50W bass combo & a basic mic pointing at it and then I just play along. No fancy software so it is a bit 'bass heavy' I suppose 😆. Thanks for your valuable advice at tweaking the treble tone. Probably never touched it since I unwrapped the guitar....now....where IS that pesky treble knob again?......lol.
