Man you woke my wife up with that music, try to follow the rule of 100% vocal volume to 95% music volume. People should turn it up to the point they need to hear you, not down to the point they need to not go deaf from music.
FEMA's disaster relief fund spent $4 Billion on COVID-19 "aid" in September 2024. “Fema does not have the funds to make it through the season.” - homeland security secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas,
Thanks for getting the word out!
Great video. Just a suggestion on the audio. I had to keep turning my volume up and down due to the difference in the audio level of the music vs. you speaking. When you were speaking I’d turn it up quite a bit to hear you which would be really loud when the background music kicked in after you were done speaking.
Hey, very interesting podcast. I like how David seeks contact with owners and customers of Robinson helicopters. I also find it very nice how the customer service and due customer satisfaction should be improved. I myself have been a Robinson customer for over 30 years. First R22 and since 1995 R44 owner. I would be very interested if the service life of the R44 will also be increased from 12 to 15 years? What would still interest me is whether the number of starting cycles for the R66 turbine will also be increased. That's the only reason I haven't bought an R66 yet. I start the helicopter too often and would rather reach 3,000 take-off cycles than 2,000 hours / 12 years. With every flight from parking position to an other parking position at the airfield or with every take-off at the gas station, you lose a start-cycle on the turbine. This is the advantage of the R44 with piston engine. I would be very happy about an answer or an email from Robinson. I come from Germany and only fly privately. Greetings from Germany 🙋🏽♂️
Mandy: Can I ask where in Australia you trained? I'm currently looking for schools near Brisbane.... I'm American... I'm not interested in going the CFI route either... I'm not sure what all is involved in terms of keeping a VISA, etc. -- and although it sounds as though you returned earlier than planned, would you still recommend the school? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Great podcast both of you!!
Great Podcast
AMAZING !!! WHAT A NICE ONE !!!
Loved the heli story at the beginning, always interesting to hear the experiences of your career.
Phil it's an amazing guy who is always there to help out! Another amazing episode :)
I can safely say you have the best intros, love the podcast
Greetings from New Zealand! You’re doing a fantastic job connecting with helicopter enthusiasts who share a passion for the industry and its people. As a private pilot license (PPL) holder working towards my commercial pilot license (CPL), I come from Nepal with a burning desire to become a helicopter pilot. This passion has led me to New Zealand for my training.
Just found your channel and had to watch this one.. keep up the great work.
Is there a conversion for older Schweizers for governor/correlator? That is my only beef. I would love to have one that doesn't require constant adjustment of the throttle. Thanks.
Amazing conversation. I find it very entertaining and educational. I like it keep up
Awesome interview. I got my license from Chinook with Cathy and Andy Roe back in 2012 👍🏼
Scary
..Okay, I don't get it!!! What does CKELWZN mean??
Great content sir! Robinson owner / operator in Arkansas! Would love to chat sometime!
Any time! You can email me Helihalsey1@gmail.com
Big Hi from the Netherlands! Catching up on The Heilicopter Podcast on Spotify when driving, this is the first one on YT. Nice!!
Hi there, glad you are enjoying! Thanks for checking us out over here on RUclips!
This one best played at double speed...🙄
Greetings! Just broke 100 hours and wanted to let you know I love your work. It makes my long drives for work a lot shorter! :)
Thanks for having me on!
What in the name of sweet Baba Jesu is thas?!?!
*Promo sm* 😊
New favorite podcast if I’m being honest, and all I did was search up Helicopter podcasts. These shows make it seem as if helicopters are more fun than flying planes which is a big factor in my decision about which aircraft I’ll start my training in. Thanks for the content!
I hope no one snitch on that👍🔥🔥🔥☠️☠️☠️
Great Job providing interesting content once again Halsey A+ interview.
Great to see. Max is a particular inspiration to many of us.
You should come out to my facility. Ill give you a full tour of how a black hawk turns into a firehawk.
Just found you. Great stuff. I watch Kenny all the time. I’m a 59 year old student pilot trying to absorb as much information I can about helicopters and the industry.
Very cool wrap up Halsey!
That school in Utah is STILL taking advantage of the VA (and their students). It’s not like that went away, they just painted the horse a different color.
Con teeeeee partiroooooo
Darcy, watz the word on the street? Doing any low level, Venezuela to offshore night runs?🥸
And I am the guy that Darcy spoke about with the fixed wing aircraft and lived in the same rural town as Darcy. Good to hear Darcy
I was one of those big Canadian dudes, Darcy mentions, great to hear Darcy
I’m also enjoying this podcast why on the gym! I’m making it a habit and motivation for training and learning about helicopters.
Dear Mr Hill. Where are you sourcing your titanium for you engine impellers from? How many years in advance are you placing your orders? How are you getting any price discount to keep your engine cost down? I saw your engine and helicopter at Heli expo. I saw nothing ground breaking on your design. How do you plan to compete with the years of design an production of Turbomeca? Their arrius engine new runs $500k. With mass production runs.
Just found your channel. Subscribing.
My wife is in the guard and works on the black hawk and apaches it’s pretty badass stuff
I’ll ride in with her in a gyrocopter if she rides with me on my bike. Finding women who will ride on a bike is surprisingly difficult maybe 1 in 4. Nah, really, what’s so special about a female helicopter pilot?
Clicked to see the chick on the front 😅🤣🤣
I love the MD 500 E . It was the most beatiful chopper presented at the heli-expo: . It is the easiest helicopter to fly and the more affordable to maintain and operate of all.
I was fishing the surf near the 81st street pier on Galveston island. (north east gulf coast of Texas) I saw a large male killer whale surface and submerged near the end of the pier. That dorsal was a good 6 feet tall. Blew me away. I thought killer whales would prefer cooler waters. I did a little research and found out that there are some groups of killer whales that frequent the Gulf of Mexico. I’ve seen plenty of dolphin and sharks are common.
I went it was very cool
It’s the Catalina Wine mixer. Where I get my nut. Lol
Where's Robinson at?😂
Came in Day 1.
Hopefully in Torrence CA 😂
Everyone in the gulf is hiring. Westwind, Bristow, PHI, RLC… nobody stays on long enough down there. Getting their hours and on to EMS.
