Ok. I worked at Madison Square for a good many years in the 80’s. I can remember when New Kids on the Block were in town for a concert and it caused such a riot with teenage girls that they had to shut the gates to the sporting goods store so they could shop. Then they had to let them out through the back door so they wouldn’t be mobbed.

It was actually a Ruby Tuesday. TGI Friday’s was actually further down University Drive. I miss the mall. Just not the same without it.

This is and will never be Huntsville, it’s Madison no matter how you look at it. My families been in Huntsville since the late 1,800’s. Madison was nothing but a Tornado and flood zone, I went to UNA and had to pass through the fields, now it’s just a sea of cars, cars and more cars. Not impressed. It’s great you’re trying your best show off the Country but I refuse to go out that way.

The houses are there are quite nice but seriously expensive, in some cases rather overpriced. What Providence could use is a mini-grocers. We were told that there used to be one there but that it didn't well, though not sure why. A very walkable community but in need of a couple of more things, like the mini-grocers.

If you have children, definitely stay in the Madison area. Hindsight is 20/20 because I would’ve bought in Madison. Do not move to limestone county if you have children…..bullying is rampant and they do not like outsiders. The school system administrators will do nothing. It’s a complete clown show in limestone. Prior superintendent is in federal prison.

Funny thing is.... Anyone who has watched a Major League Baseball game in person would disagree. I love hearing people complain about baseball. They usually grew up playing with softballs (soccer balls,footballs,basketballs) and or quit after machine pitch..... I know these kind of people..... And they're usually soft handed.

I literally thought the exact same thing. Baseball is a snoozefest. I almost thought cricket but then I realized I know nothing about it so I can't knock it.
