    just started playing this game the other day and ive been having a blast so far. The movement and platforming in this game is one of the most exhilirating things ive ever experienced in a game. Its pure crack. Definitely hope to at the very least find every collectible after beating the game (including every weapon, perk, hat, and agility point) and complete every scan at least once. It might become my 8th 100% game - we'll see. Definitely one of my favorite games of all time. Very good video! youve earned yourself a sub :)

      also, in response to what games you should complete next - i dont know what kinds of games you like playing most often, but Tunic and Outer Wilds are 2 games that mean more to me than almost any other game in the world. Outer wilds in particular is a little annoying to 100% complete (theres a couple dlc achievements that are a real pain in the ass) but Tunic is not too bad, and both games made me feel a lot of things after completing them. They are more exploration and puzzle based but I promise are 100% worth it and are unlike any other game ive played in my life. If you are looking for another game to play, I highly recommend them. if youre looking for a game more similar to the style of something like echo point nova, I Am Your Beast is a very fun and fast paced movement-based and combat-focused game where you have to figure out how to take down every enemy in a stage the quickest and most stylishly. Extremely addicting game that reminds me a little bit of ultrakill in some ways and is extremely versatile in its combat and movement. highly recommended as well.

    Good List and I will add something I would like to see ref gathering resources no matter the method of harvest (Forage, Gathering, wood cutting etc). The queue idea was good but what I would think would be better is an "Area" or "Current Zone" queue where you go into an area and double-click on any open ground to bring up a menu where you say what kind of Harvesting you want to do ) select one like Gathering or Woodcutting" then once selected the players character will run around in the current area harvesting any eligible resource that the player selected even waiting on respawns until the inventory is full or the player clicks anywhere else on the open ground.

    i can agree with most but the letting us see eachothers gear. like you said blind leading the blind or in most cases it just makes people have tunnel vision and start going for what they see someone else using. i do think we need more coop skilling, what lil we have it makes even the overcrowded zones feel lonely. its an mmo without the mmo feel. i dont care about trading or being carried in combat. every profession so far can have coop actions like the 2 person woodcutting or the net, take cooking for example have a 2 person cooking recipe like a 2 course meal or something. My other suggestion is basically the same as most, make afk worth it, even if its 1/4 of the rate of active or have it 1/2 but you have to choose between xp or coins and the other comes at a 1/10 of the rate that way you can feel afk is worth your time, cause lets be honest at the current point 1 hour active is about 24+ hours afk time

    My suggestions for the potions would be to make the duration stack up to a certain amount. I also think the total amount of xp knowledge points can give should be limited to the total amount of xp you've earned actually using the skill. Being able to level some gathering skills faster by doing a completely unrelated skill makes absolutely no sense. At least in this scenario you'll actually have to use the skill.

    • @ABerryPlays
      @ABerryPlays Месяц назад

      Potions do last quite a bit longer at higher levels, and I think stacking the last 30 seconds onto a fresh potion could actually work! As for knowledge points, I think the idea is to let players train multiple skills at once to cut down on the grind a bit.

    I also like the idea of pinning an item to see what you need to craft. To piggy back off that you could also list your number of said time to level up in the book as well. That way when you track it the remaining number could also be attached.

    Anyone know where we can leave feedback? I really dislike how the smithing skills are not even for weapon smithing. Iron barely uses wood where they should and stone uses too much wood imo. I get having them intertwined to have other skills feel worth while. I just rather be able to plan the same for all three to level them versus struggling as one needs only ore and one needs more.

    • @ABerryPlays
      @ABerryPlays Месяц назад

      Either Steam reviews or directly on X (formerly Twitter) are probably the best options for feedback. Andrew Gower does respond on X if you’re loud enough! I agree, though-the skill system definitely takes some getting used to, especially if you’re coming from other MMOs.

    My biggest gripe is that it's impossible to hold a conversation across tiles, so any method that involves moving across them is a lonely experience. I once struck a conversation that was going really well until I had to leave the tile and when I came back they were replaced with a different set of players, so any chances I had of carrying on that conversation was completely dead.

    • @ABerryPlays
      @ABerryPlays Месяц назад

      I’ve had this experience too! Thankfully, you can add players to your friends list and hop to their 'room,' but yeah, it does feel a bit immersion-breaking when it happens. It would be nice if they could change the system to prioritize moving to tiles with recent players as well as just friends. That might go a long way toward solving the issue.

  • @CrescentRollCarl

    I think you should be able to craft with items in the bank. Add stackable gathering items. Improve combat. Add more activities when you level up, right now its all the same forever. Make gathering more engaging, like what Runescape 3 did with mining where a node becomes more xp than the others. More collection progression, something like Runescape 3 archeology.

    • @ABerryPlays
      @ABerryPlays Месяц назад

      Great ideas! Combat could definitely use a second look, and I agree there are lessons Brighter Shores could take from an established MMO like RS3, but I do think that it needs to keep some of it's own identity, and a bit of a grind here and there are likely going to form part of that!

  • @omegahaxors9-11

    XP pots are a lot better if you play around them. Withdraw 9 ingredients for potions and you can do all 9 of them as soon as your potion runs out. Same story for carpentry except you want to alternate between 9 and 8 as 2 planks from the previous load will carry over to the next dose.

      @@ABerryPlays it's more about pc gamers being extremly scpetic about a company releasing a game on devices that are more limited technically. People do not understand how having more devices is limiting, sure it increase income at the moment you make the port but also ruins what the game can be. FF XIV is a great example of that with its worse design elements coming from the fact that it is also a console game, I'm pretty sure it would even generate more income if it was pc only as a fun fact despite being in a console franchise. It works for osrs because of its by design limitations, for the rest it is a big galore.
