I think I may be guilty of recommending this box to you, I know I loved it when I was able to get them. Unfortunately they went out of print before I could complete some of it, the puzzles are particularly annoying due to the dupes. Bit like the Absolute Terror box in this respect. However overall the art is pretty good and you do at least get 4 cards per pack which reduces the impact of pulling puzzle pieces. If I recall the SSR's go up to something like 70'ish I know it took me ages to complete that subset... Another vote for 'Love of Picking Stars' based on an unboxing I saw last night, I ordered some immediately afterwards...

This is an interesting set and annoying though puzzles can be as you get 1 piece in each standard pack does make it more possible. Although having said that the biggest problem is the dupes issue, as you saw yourself it is not uncommon to get dupes in a single box which is REALLY ANNOYING. On the plus side the puzzles when completed are pretty sweet and some of the subsets such as the one you picked up on with the really different art style are cool. I did actually complete most if not all 4 puzzles (can't recall without digging out the binder as it was some time back) and come close on most of the subsets. There are as I recall some really nice box topper cards as well, it might be this set that had some metal cards in the box toppers, again long time ago last year I was getting these. Overall a good box though if frustrating due to the dupes. As you say 'Absolute Terror Field' is apparently a term for a special attack in Evangelion - where the relevance to this set is I don't know, strange some of these Chinese companies :)

After watching several of your videos, I'm having the belief that even if someone bought 15 boxes, I don't think they'd get a full set. Have you ever actually gotten a full set of any edition of cards, or managed to get all the puzzle cards before? Seems like even if someone did, they'd spend way more money than the selling price of a set. The only thing I can compare these to are the trading cards I used to collect back in the 80s-90s, but I don't remember having to ever buy boxes and boxes or cases to get a full set. I used to be able to just buy a couple packs at a time when I had the spare money, and maybe get the full set in a month or 2.

The rarities are, in every case (24 boxes) you'll get 1 SSP, which are cards with art exclusively made for Weiss, and 3 SP's which are alt art signed cards. You have a chance to get a RRR+ 1:3 cases, SEC+ 1:6 cases, and the AGR 1:50 cases which his a card hand signed by the voice actor for Rapi. Every box should include 3 hits, your hits are any card SR or above.

These were also quick to go out of print. Surprised you had a box available. If you're looking at newer boxes I've heard good things about "love of picking stars".

I'm going to assume that most TCGs copy roughly the same format as these. Since there isn't a really a huge difference between anuncommon, reverse holo, and holo. Thus you asking how they determine who gets a holo version. Well that's my take on it.

At 14:25, you ask if that character comes back. That is Marian. An Elysian Nikke who was corrupted by the raptures and returns as Modernia. Side note: Do you still have Diesel in your main party? Honestly, i did forever as i had a lot of extra dupes of her. Ive been playing since Day 1, though i have taken a few breaks. I started collecting the standalone Nikke cards after watching another vid of yours, i believe.

Compared to Union Arena you dont get a guaranteed high hit in Weiss Schwarz like the parallels in Union Arena, i recommend getting, one of the korean Nivel Arena Nikke boxes. You get a guaranteed signed card per box :)

The horizontals are climax cards, it's like a special scene or event and usually pairs with a particular card for additional effects. The cards of the same character with the same numbers on them but different rarities are just alternate versions of the same card. Like when you compared the RR with SR, those are effectively the same cards. The larger semi transparent box on the art is the special effects and the smaller text above is just flavor text with no value so the SR wanted to just showcase the art more.

All the trail deck cards has a TD as the rarity.

Very cool. Very nostalgic. I don't like the 40th anniversary banner in the lower right of the puzzle pieces though.

If you can find someone to play the game with, I think that CPR card is like an instant nuke (since there is nothing on it, it's like dropping a nuclear bomb and reducing all to nothing in a blinding white flash). LOL! You automatically win the entire game by playing that card at any point.

Reading the rules, there are a few things that bother me with this game: Decks are made with singleton copies of goddesses, so what is one supposed to do with the 12 extra copies of all the common cards they'd pull from boosters? This isn't (and never will be) a popular game like MtG where one can simply purchase singles if desired. There are a lot of rules related to class types and board zones that are not explained anywhere on the cards themselves. Constantly keeping a pdf open and referring to it during gameplay is very inconvenient (of which, the rules are poorly written and organised; a glossary of key terms would help somewhat). Finally, possibly a positive or negative based on perspective, each faction has its own booster box, which is fine if you simply wish to target a certain faction, yet terrible if you wish to play two, three, or all four, coupled with the fact one would likely require 2-3 boxes to collect the set, factoring in the price of 1x4 faction boxes is listed at ~200€, which is quite expensive for an unknown/untested game with AI generated assets and extremely minimal graphic design.

if have you a extra clear stand lying around tamashi nations stand or any clear stand that has 3 mm peg in it you can recreate the book like its floating in the air having extra stands is handy sometimes. those stickies are use to hold her top and waist piece as they are so thin and made of some rubbery transparent plastic.

There's just something skeevy about using tools that rip from established artists, then selling a product using the images produced.

I kickstarted this project and got some "nude" cards. Honestly, the cards are really nice. I just had a bad experience with the way they treated us as backers personally, so I am a bit sour.
