@@Legkicksandleglocks most bjj practitioners are lifelong martial artists, had this convo with someone that said something similar, if someone is a purple-black belt in bjj there is a high chance they’ve dabbled in other skill sets, I’m a one stripe white but have wrestled since I was a toddler, I consider myself to be pretty decent and still get twisted up by the upper ranks, there’s levels to this
Same here. I'm a taekwondo blackbelt and Boxer who is also a BJJ white belt. There are definitely are levels to this and a BJJ white belt could tear apart non grappling practitioners
