I finally experienced that fact that different inkstones produce different color. I have one Chinese inkstone and one Akama inkstone. The Akama inkston is a lot more abrasive and the ink it produce has bigger particle so the color is more bluish. The Chinese one is smoother, so the ink it produces is more reddish due to smaller ink particle. I would not say one is better than the other because they serve different purposes. I have yet own a 歙州 inkstone, but I will buy one soon.

Hello! Thank you for the comment! I used hand made half ripe xuen, Kissho Gansai Japanese color ink. Sumi ink is blue black ink called seiryutai. I don’t know the name of the brush. I bought from my Chinese painting teacher. Thank you for watching my video!
