I have never really had any issues with my beta. I do everything as the book says and it runs and rides great. From what I have heard the RX has a little more hit then the RE but it’s personal preference. About the suspension I am just over 200 and I resprung the rear shock from race tech and I really enjoy it. Just some clicks/adjustments here and there.

Main bearing issue was a few years back on the 300. Beta owned up to it and fixed bikes under "warranty" that were multiple years old. Electrical has gotten better, but it seems guys still get lemons with electrical issues. Beta seems to stand behind their product better than any other brand, for what that's worth. I doubt you'll ever beat Japanese reliability, though.

If you're jumping alot then go with the Race Edition from what I've heard! The RE's come with KYB's and are said to be stiffer which should benefit you if hitting alot of jumps. I hope to snag a leftover 2024 300RR RE soon for myself and I've also considered the 200RR RE's as well since they are built on a smaller frame, but are said to have phenomenal bottom end lugability even on a 200! Now that I'm riding alot more, and trying to elevate my skillset I've come to learn that riding my late father's 2004 KTM 450 MXC is not ideal for where and how I like to ride 😅 (Doesn't help that the MXC was designed for desert racing either and not single track/woods/hillclimbs)....As it's a 6 speed gearbox with closer gear ratios like the SX MX race bikes, but has a kickstarter, electric starter, and is wired for lights like the EXC's are. It's a bit of a bastard child of a bike haha! I will never get rid of that bike, but I need something better suited as that thing IS A HOSS TO RIDE! I wanna say it's 265lbs wet, and I myself am 6'1 240ish pounds....So something like the 200 is something smaller and MUCH lighter that I can manhandle much easier, and even if I went to the 300RR RE instead it's still going to be a solid 20lbs lighter than my 450 with the benefit of being far better suited for that type of riding I mentioned as well as being 20 years newer tech and engineering. You may want to go with a regular style tire like mx34, but they do make at82 that are reversible that have a little more aggressive traction for sand that you might like to have. With that I would go with I wider rear tire say a 140 giving the tire a little more flex over obstacles
