Yes! Also- sugar is actually worse for your blood pressure than salt. I eat a lot of salt and have completely normal blood pressure. (Actually slightly lower than most people, in a good way). My husband has high blood pressure because he drinks soda and rockstars and eats prepackaged gas station food when he’s on the road for work. (Not bashing my husband at all, just showing the difference. He knows this and is changing his diet). Eating real salt on your food is not a problem. Eating processed crappy food or sugary drinks are the real high blood pressure culprits. Mainstream medicine lies about a lot. Also cutting out salt completely can cause a slew of other problems because our bodies need a certain amount of sodium, like the example you gave.

Maybe, instead of getting those extra 2000 steps in to lose weight, we can work on accepting our bodies the way they are in this chapter of our life, and eventually like, and then love it. Just think of what your body went through and does for you. It has been sick for 7 years, it grew another person and is feeding him. That's incredible! As long as the extra weight isn't making us sick(er) and we do our best to live an active life and eat nutritious food - even if we binge on carbs and far sometimes. It's the balance of what's good for our body and what makes us feel good.

This brought me to tears. You’re incredible Eden. Totally soak up this season as Leon is a baby and being what he needs!! There’s nothing more important than that. You are enough either way.
