It’s sounds nice over stock but was hoping it was a Little more aggressive sounding too but as we get older we like a more mellow of a tone sometimes each rig has its place in the fleet good bro keep up the hard work and can’t for future developments on the projects 💯😎💪🏼
@@codyday8959 the Borla has a good balance for a daily driver. We will see if overtime it breaks in like Magnaflow
That's to quiet even for you brotha 😂
Discount Tire bought the mold from Hankook...these are the Dynapro ATM rebranded and built for Discount Tire.
When did discount buy the mold?
Thanks for the information and showing how they rigged it up. Looks nice and sounds nice and tight !!!
@@markaustin9544 thank you. Really happy with how it turned out. Still sounds just as good months later and several thousand miles later.
I dig it think it sounds great
What air to air cooler is that?!?!
I like the throttle pedal like that, no issues when it gets wet?
@@Phil00661 nope no problems at all. It’s high enough up and mostly protected I think.
Hey guy's, would you recommend a 1.9TDi swap into a 1993 Ford F150 - 2wd?
@@fernandolandaburu3669 I’ve seen it done before. I think it would work. You could always do a 3.0 TDI or a 4BT if you can find one.
I am currently behind you in a left turn lane on constitution
@@brandonhinds6884 cool. Believe it's the F-150 you were behind then. It's out running errands in town
@@SandRatsGarage it was indeed
@@brandonhinds6884 Glad someone saw the truck out and about. Means the stickers were worth it
How did you get the metal sleeve out of the shock to get the bolt through?

Did Tim by any chance build a write up on the wiring portion of it?
I'm not 100% sure. If you're on Facebook and look up off-road Ford explorers Tim is the moderator. You can ask questions there as well
@@SandRatsGarage alright yeah I’m actually part of that group too, I’ll lookout and see if I can find him there thanks for the reply and help brother!
Nice job Jon 😎 keep up the amazing work
Is it 2.0 TDI? What power/torque it have? Cool build 🙂
It’s a 1.9 TDI from a 2004 Jetta. This one is making about 160hp and 300 lb ft at the tire!
Thank you for this video. I just ordered the part.
Cool build..
You shoulda heat wrapped the turbo and exhaust. Because you’re goona cook that starter. And ford staters already suck
That down pipe is a mile from the starter I’ve seen way worse
Bew explorer So probably gets 25mpg😂
Sweet.
Jurassic park Explorer.
A piece of masking tape applied to the inside covering the hole would prevent the jb weld from falling in
I'm so stoked to see the car running better for you. And now you can enjoy modifying and driving it :) awesome update.
Thanks for all the help trouble shooting my computer issue
Thank you very much for this
I think it looks sick!
Glad to see you still making progress with the p5.
Thanks
Would you still recommend this cargo net?
If you don't plan to fold the seat down yes. I removed mine because I had the seat down repeatedly and got tired of un hooking it
Yes it was good quality. I got rid of it because I had to unhook it everytime I wanted to fold the seat down
@@SandRatsGarage gotcha I think I'm going to spend the money for the metal one from JRC Offroad but I have to get my windows tinted first
Whats that net behind your back seat?
It was a setup to keep the dogs in the back hatch are. I have a video on here. ruclips.net/video/8mPLGv09P3k/видео.htmlsi=O-JLcvnX0L7NkzKL
@sandratsgarage6783 the whole purpose of my jeep is for my dog lol so he can stay in the back 😂
Good vid i purchased this harness for some headlights with DLRs and it made a huge difference, just wish us XJ guys had more options for headlights with DLRs that aren’t eBay specials
Thanks. I drive a lot at night so wanted an upgrade.. planning on doing some additional lighting and switch panel soon
@@SandRatsGarage I snagged the Mictuning 8gang RGB p1s for cheap on sale can’t go wrong with it
You killing you rear end with that flat diff cover. Do your research. banks power. Chanel.
The factory Ford rear gave up at 100k. Been running a 4.10 gear w/Detroit trutrac for 50k. Nothing wrong with theses covers. I did plenty reading on opinions and info before installing. Even watched Banks videos. Thanks for the info though
Swag!

Useless video
Hey bro i love the Protege content. I have a turbo Es Protege im working on making content with. 😊 Protege fam!
Thanks this has been a long trying road, but i keep chipping away at it.
Nice job on the window blanks. However, I was wondering if you didn't make them gull wings, why not have used the factory seals? Found your channel from a XJ Facebook group member.
I thought about it, but didn't have time to mess with it. They use to make (not sure if they still do)window blanks with storage cubbies also or for rotopax mounts
Where did you get these I want them for my f150
Ebay
I took this idea and did it to the fire wall and used the cowl and an exhaust so in the cold months it’s closed and helps the engine warm up and in the summer months it’s open to let heat out it helps a lot
I bought the linked part and it fixed speeds 2,3 AND 4!!!
That gives a whole new meaning to don’t go into the light😂😂😂😂😂
Looks clean
Thanks
Another solid video bro I purchased this bc of you. Good job on explaining the product how has it been for you ?
Other people have had success with this setup. Unfortunately I did not. I had a connector corrode and fail. Then I bought a second relay kit only to have issues several months later. Not sure if it's just me or my xj because other people have had great results. I'm planning some major modifications to my Jeep in the future.
what i did with my p5 was put a small piece of aluminum foil tape under each hole that way i never had to make a mess with that jb weld. just a small drop and was super clean.
Way cheaper and looking good
nice!!!!
My speeds work but ac button doesnt light up sometimes on certain speeds will this fix that issue
Mines having the same issue
You need to change AC blower motor resistor, drop the glove box, it's sitting there on 2 bolt, disconnect and install the new one... ✌️
I was looking at this tire !! Thanks for the review buying tomorrow
The website doesn’t seem to work anymore. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?
I'll reach out to the guy who makes the kits and see if I can get updated info

Can you make a video on how to remove the map light fixture
You talking about the dome light in the middle of the headliner?
@@SandRatsGarage the one in the front but I just figured it out
@@dustinbelknap9207 oh ok
I’m sorry, but why did you need a shop to align this? If you installed it, you should have been able to handle the alignment… You can figure your toe out with a couple pieces of angle iron, a tape measure and some trigonometry…. The track bar can be figured out with a plumb bob, and steering link is simple too. There are tons of videos out there to figure caster out. That’s going to require an angle finder. The first time I did this with my 4 1/2” lift and a modified steering setup, I had a shop check and the numbers were spot on. I won’t be paying for that going forward. Besides, would you trust a tech that doesn’t understand your lift?
Before this rig I never messed with a solid axle vehicle. I wasn't worried necessarily about the alignment, as I was about getting the axle dead centered. I knew I could do the alignment, but also didn't trust myself at the time due to the work schedule and health problems I was having. With my schedule I was only even getting like an hour day to work on the Jeep. Nowadays I wouldn't have paid somebody. New job and health is better leaving me more time and energy
@@SandRatsGarage Fair. Hopefully you've got the time and ability to go enjoy things now. The first time is a little daunting considering you can inadvertently create a safety risk; but I'm guessing you've learned a lot since then. That lift is also pretty involved also. I know what you mean by work schedule. I've been in the garage at 1AM on a work night just to get something done. I hope you're feeling better now. I haven't seen much of CO, but the whole route up the 550 along the Animas River near Durango is probably one of my favorite places next to Jemez Mt in NM. Still looking for a place that truly rivals that in AZ.
@@Brian_C_ at the time I was doing this install I was commuting 4 hours round trip. So it's hard having the Jeep down.
