As a Kenyan, this is my take. I don't think African countries are ready for liberal democracy. I blame 2 things. The lack of proper nation-states and the individualistic nature of liberalism. I think that a strong nation states that defines who the individual is, is what African countries should aspire to be. When I look at the continent, I see very few actual nation states. Individualism is a lie that hinders nationalism. Individualism is a cancer that cannot be trusted and has to be destroyed if a nation state is to be established. The individual cannot be trusted to make the right decisions for the state (Just look at the choices the individual makes. Bola Tinubu, William Ruto). The state should be everything and all must submit to the state.

What are you suffering from because you never experienced Apartheid? 5. Why did Seychelles ban Nigerians? (An African country, why are you not talking about it?) The idea that the relationship between two countries will "NEVER" get better I think is not true, Ghana and Nigeria are good today, Yourubas and Igbos are getting better than yesterday and also the Internet is not a real place.

I am a black south african and I can say that this is so true. Apartheid system was a psychological attack more than anything. It shouldn't be an excuse. But also know that we do love our African brothers and sisters also. We just hate ourselves!
