Bravo from across the pond! Nice ensemble work and an exciting piece well played ! I play cornet in The Chesapeake Brass Band headquartered in Delaware in the U.S.A. We are playing this same music in February at the Mid Atlantic Brass Band Association in New Jersey. Interesting to note, my ancestors, the Van Kouwenhoven family from the Amersfoort Province of Utrecht came to New York City, America in ~1630. Small world with similar tastes in music!

Beautiful, wish there were a version without the drums but this is by far the best orchestral rendition of the song by far. Thank you to all the wonderful musicians and the conducter for putting this together.

I DUG OUT THE SCORE OF THIS SPLENDID PIECE FROM THE BIN AT THE SHANKILL CORPS. THAT WAS 50 YEARS AGO. I SCRIBED THE PARTS OUT FOR THE VARIOU BANDS I'VE PLAYED IN SINCE. WITHOUT EXCEPTION IT WAS LOVED AND BROUGHT MANY TEARS. THIS PERFORMANCE BY UTRECHT TO ME IS THE CLOSEST TO PERFECTION THAT I HAVE HEARD.

This piece is in Salvation Army literature and was written by Australian B/M Arthur Gullidge who lost his life in the second world war.
