Another example: Opioids of any kind (even Tylenol Codeine) make me sad and want to cry. It is so bad, I never wanna take it! Yet, other people like opioids, get addicted, overdose. It is SO unfair, almost cruel how addiction effects different people so differently!

Addiction is also cruel in this sense: My husband enjoys Bombay Sapphire Gin, a shot or two before bed every few nights or so, sometimes, even every night until the bottle runs out. Then we have no alcohol in the house for like 6 months bc my husband is TOO LAZY to stop by the ABC store to pick one up!

The student to teacher ratio in Cahaba Heights 1st grade class jumped up to over 20 kids per teacher. All because they refused to hire a 1st grade teacher to replace the one that left in 2023. It was a huge stressor on everyone and my kid definitely suffered the ill effects of having less one in one time with his teacher. I’m glad the superintendent has his priorities in order.

I feel the same all the time. The song Big Deal by Dead Milkmen always pops in my head when I feel this way and seems to make me feel a little better.
