Great vid. Very helpful. Cheers
Excellent!
I bought acc thinking it was acc u had to get and not normal ac 😭
Nice video fella, recently did mine and only problem i had was undoing the caliper carrier mounting bolts which were pretty seized on my car, I recommend having a 1/2 inch E18 socket and a breaker bar, I also found that you only have to remove one bolt fully before you can pull the carrier down and wrangle the disc out, also you have to be extra careful not to put too much grease on the pad guides so that you don't get any on your disc and pads surface !!!
Been away from ac for a while. Couldn’t remember what I had installed, so went for a clean install. This vid was just what I needed. 👍👍👍
What kind of symptoms were you having ?
Hi it was twofold, firstly I just wanted to change all the mounts for preventative maintenance, secondly I'm having some clunking that I thought this would fix but that's obviously being caused by something else
Great video and much appreciated. I’ve got a suspected air leak from the rocker cover so I’m going to replace the cover and gasket using this video as my guide
Appreciated man hope it goes well
Good video bro❤

I'll be the first here then, entertaining vid. I've been using my Astra H for work, folding the back seats down and filling it full of tools a junk. after seeing this there is still life left in the o'l girl I'm trawling through your other vids 👍
Very helpful video bit different to another one I've seen on YT where there's not a spec of rust or dirt on it and all the bolts just seem to undo parts remove so easily I'm going to have a go at this if the rain would kindly go away Just one thing I did notice on another vid was once you undo the drive shaft nut you hammer the drive shaft inwards a bit to to free it up from the bearing, seems to save all the bashing with a hammer to get the bearing off 👍
Appreciate it mate, those types of videos are helpful for showing the process but they don't always capture the reality of working on an old, rusty car on your driveway
@@BurningOilYTПотрібно почистити посадочне місце від ржі під підшипник
I’m not sure if the wheel bearing is the issue on my Astra h . When I turn right at greater than 15 mph, there horrible crackling and popping noise from the front left. I’ve changed the CV joint at the hub end and I can’t feel any play in the wishbone. Still the noise persists.
Generally I think a bad wheel bearing would give more of a loud road noise type sound, but for me I always like to check by jacking the car up and giving the wheel a shake: if there's play in the wheel when I shake it holding the wheel side to side and up and down then that would signify a bad wheel bearing
All these views and no one has left a comment? Good video maye about to do mine
Appreciate it mate, hope it goes well
Good Job Insightful video
They Whatsup man do you know what that connection is called right behind the dipstick at 1:43 that connects to the valve cover I guess?
The one that’s right under that bolt at 2:31 when your pointing at it the plastic piece broke on my moms connected to the metal piece but I can’t seem to find the name of it anywhere idk where else to look
@brianguerrero9163 hiya mate I've tried having a look but I'm not sure to be honest, might be worth taking a picture and posting on the astra h forums theres some really knowledgeable people on there that might be able to help
@@BurningOilYT okay man greatly appreciated thank you!
Very helpful thank you 😊 I was thinking I would have to take out the whole centre console 😅
Thanks man, it's super easy to do, just be cautious not to over or under tighten
@@BurningOilYT yeah finding the happy medium is what to aim for. I personally like 4-5 clicks on the handbrake and then maybe be able to push out two more if needed 😆
Whats the part number? Seen a couple different ones
I bought the part from ebay, but the description says "Reference OEM# part number: FORD (1 206 927, 1 253 185, 1 325 972, 1 855 157)", the aftermarket part number was 1325972
Hi there How easy is it to reaplce the actual blower motor on this model car please? I cant find a video on it anywhere...
