Honestly compared to other people I've watched, you got into the groove of this game's combat pretty fast. Generally in group fights you want to use combos that end with heavy attacks to knock people down and keep them down. Just like real life, you want to deal with 1 person at a time. In boss fights, use Rush and dodge to the side to get behind and combo them. And if you're feeling confident, you can switch styles to spice up that combo. And don't use the same heat actions multiple times bc they'll decrease in damage. Heat mechanic in Y0 is pretty punishing, so treat it like a resource. But it's kinda hard to keep track as a new player (not to also mention heat actions are awesome) so I understand. This game is absolute cinema when it comes to story and cutscenes. And it goes even harder in combat, especially when you fight with style.

Makes dealing with them in these extended sequences less of a pain if you just hold a heat bar or two for approaching them. 42:00 This part is great, because it shows you the level of dysfunction within the family. Everyone's out for himself, so there's no loyalty to the other captains. Everyone's getting whatever advantage they can over everyone else.

using the same heat action repeatedly makes it weaker, so you have to do it once per fight, meaning you have to use and find different heat actions during the fight, not just the simple ones you get when you knock opponents down

You need to have variety with Heat Actions - use the same ones multiple times on the same enemy and they end up doing less damage. This only really becomes noticable with bosses like Kuze because regular enemies are usually done after one Heat Action.

They are designed for you to abuse them with shotguns, or you could go balls out and not cheese them, I would advise that with one of the two, his dad is a rat bastard in his second phase, but hey I've said to much, I should shut up before they hunt me down.

To clear some things with Like a Dragon Inshin. Basically Ishin is a yakuza Spin off set in the Bakumatsu (1853-1867) phase of the Late Edo period in Japanese History, and Follows Ryoma Sakamoto A REAL SAMURAI IN JAPANESE HISTORY and an important figure in establishing the imperial era of Japan Basically what they've done is tell a REAL story from Japanese History But just with Yakuza characters(and the charm) Meaning a Member of the main Yakuza Cast has Each Taken a Place of an important character from Sakamoto's story. with Kiryu Being the leading man Sakamoto himself.

The tv show is actually not bad. The problem is if you have played the games you will be disappointed at the changes they made. I wasn’t too sure about the the show myself after watching the first episode. but by the end of the third episode I really wanted to know how they’d finish the story and I was bumped out to wait a week for the last three episodes. The games are definitely better though.

Yakuza 5 is actually pretty interesting story. Basicalyl it almost didn't get a wester release AT ALL. So it was kind of a lower priority port. Basically the initial PS3 version had kind of a Sloppy Translation of the original Japanese Script and It was kinda just Dumped onto the PS3 store with no real fanfare because while the Franchise was still making money in the west it was kinda loosing steam by that point As this was when Yakuza was still a fairly nieche series inthe west and not one of Segas Main Pillars alongside Sonic and the Persona games. The game didn't even get a physical release. only releasing digitally on the PS3 store. It wasn't untill the Yakuza Remastered collection that Yakuza 5 GOT a physical releasese. Collectors edition for the remastered edition eveb came with an empty Yakuza 5 PS3 box so collectors could add onto their shelves and finish the ps3 section of their box set.
