You did a great job this was really informative and although I havent really dabbled in lighting yet it gives me a lot to think about with my videos. I saw some of your previous videos and your progress really gives me hope. I feel like Im in that novice student phase just working on storytelling right now. Keep making videos like these I liked that you werent just showing off a recreation that you made but that you told us how you made it and the reasoning behind the originals decisions. I quit my full-time job because it was exhausting me, all I've been doing now is working on my own projects and finding film jobs to work on that pay me. I saw your stuff on the New Mexico film group. My wife and I are planning to move to NM early next year, would love to connect and maybe collab eventually.

I don't believe you can "mix it to fix it." I truly believe that you have to do one thing well to make it. However we gotta do what we gotta do to survive. But if we keep our faith you will be moved, and it will be up to you to choose your path from there. I say all this because, that's what I'm going thru now. But the world is trying to pull me back to 9-5. Its up to me at this point to make the "dream" work

💯💯leaving the security of a job is so much more complicated than money. No one talks about the pto, retirement, raises, hr as well as consistency of a standard employer. They also don’t tell you how unfulfilling it can be to a creative that works for money, you most likely won’t be shooting things you want you’ll be shooting what your clients wants. There is no right answer we are all on our own path. Fantastic video
