This was very vulnerable and relatable. As a fellow RUclipsr what I’ve learnt is your audience can only meet you where YOU are. The people who watched your travel videos may not be the same people that watch your vlogs but you need to show up for both parties REGARDLESS. Once you’re in a space to do travel content again, those who watch that will meet you RIGHT there. Bottom line is ; you do what you can where you’re at! Which is exactly what you’re doing now so you’re ALREADY doing amazing. I found this video cause it popped up on my explore page! I have NEVER seen your travel vlogs but this got to me and here I am commenting I hope you get where I’m going with this. Keep going keep creating and create for the NOW xxx Ps I also subbed ❤

We understand. Rule #1. Don't do it for the money or you will fail. You will get stressed because your videos are not performing well. The money will come later if people like your videos. Rule #2. Do anything you want to do but be passionate about it and just be yourself. People are people and there's no such thing as a perfect video. I see some RUclipsrs do all there videos at home and they don't travel and people like them. Don't worry if your videos don't get a lot of views its ok but you have to keep doing it. Just do your everyday routine. You would be surprised what people like to watch. Once RUclips see people are watching your videos. They will put them out to more viewers. Just keep putting out videos. Do whatever you ant to do. It will be ok just keep going. I'm Jonathan BTW.

I don't know maybe it's because I'm a guy but I've made friends with some Belgium guys when I visited that side, we clicked rite away at Clifton beach coz we were comparing SA beers and European beers, but the language thing was the issue coz they couldn't speak proper English and I couldn't speak Belgium. I don't get easily bored coz I like my own space and been by myself but I noticed Cape Town you can go mad with loneliness, the Uber driver said to me I should hang out at Khayelisha to mingle with people next time I visit there...

I am confused there is many Black people in Cape Town now, was not that many during 80's and 90's. People of Cape Town are actually friendly but are overwhelmed by people from JHBG, whom come across as more in your face., though its actually that people from JHBG are more confident in their approach. I moved to the UK and had no friends, i took it upon myself to invite people out for lunch at work and made friends that way.
