holy shit this fucking sucks no better than vtuber music
ok woah woah hold up there. no need to shit on the greatest bassist of all time just cuz of some insane stalker
Nobody likes you.
Trash.
i can't believe jazz fans are blackmailing vtubers, what a time to be alive
Why are psychopaths like this guy still allowed to upload?
Own up to what you did Bass
the tiaga thing?

I’m 4 minutes in. I love the interview and the music but it’s dizzying listening to audio and seeing visuals which don’t match.
Your video sucks.
I hope you lose your channel for threats.
First! Love this performance. Will never forget this performance live in Oakland Paramount Theater. Antonio’s solo was most memorable.
Wow thank you for this clean upload. Really appreciate this, I love Alexey Kozlov
Smart move from Joni.... you can't beat Jaco and Metheny... nobody but nobody plays bass as good as Jaco... close call Wooten Miller Berlin and the like...but still not quite there! Metheny style for Joni only perhaps Coryell Schofield could equal... possibly... obviously Holdsworth McLaughlin Beck too different but as good as Pat
my video "1995 israel gary willis bass solo" is really really good
Hearing Jaco for the first tine, playing on ‘Heavy Weather’ when I was 16, just blew my mind. I had to have the album and then I saw him play, with the same personnel. I have loved his playing ever since and his playing with Joni was so perfect. He was able to bring a sensitivity and feeling, that was so incredible. He was the one that changed the landscape of bass playing for ever and there will never be another like him 🙏❤️
What harmony between these 3 giants of jazz, if I had to keep only one concert by Michel Petruccianni... it would be this one.
To my ears, her songs never sounded as good before or since, than they did with Haco. He might deserve shared writing credit almost, that’s how big a contribution he made
his name is Jacko, the J from his real name John francis
@@VintageBassArchive Typo. I know his name and was lucky to hear him play live many times.
Lol haco ❤
@@amymalina5073I think my mom saw him with weather report. Long time ago
@@VintageBassArchive Me too, saw him with Weather Report but also numerous times in LA and the West Village in early 80’s, walking around, bass slung over his back, no case, and sitting in on various gigs around the neighborhood which was mostly, wild and untamed and always interesting
Jaco juggling with Lyle Mays, awesome 👌
It's hard to believe this brilliant, fearless, fun-loving, thoroughly fresh-sounding jazz pianist has been gone 25 years, and that this incredible recital was recorded only a couple of years before his death -- in his prime. To have this video as a monument to his musicianship is a great gift to the world.
This Livestream has been edited to remove loading screens and stuff
When I first heard about Jaco, I watched Montreaux in full to get acquainted. Was not impressed. Just seemed like a challenging listen with some chords on bass. This video makes me actually appreciate his contribution to the world of music.
Stole this from the original what a move
this album is a russian export and you would be supporting russian war crimes from the website of the United States Department of State: "The United States assesses that doing business in the Russia Federation and in Russia-occupied territories of Ukraine poses serious legal, financial, and reputational risks. Russia’s kleptocratic environment undermines fair competition and the rule of law, making businesses susceptible to extortion, property seizures, and U.S. law enforcement action. Businesses increasingly risk severe civil and criminal penalties in navigating the raft of economic sanctions, export controls, and import restrictions imposed on Russia by the United States and its allies and partners. In addition, businesses are being forced to cooperate in Russia’s military mobilization and could be implicated in Russia’s commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity as part of Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine. " "The Russian government recently expanded its “LGBT propaganda” law to effectively prohibit all expression related to LGBTQI+ issues and the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons. In July, President Putin signed a law that criminalized gender-affirming surgery and hormone treatments, effectively banning transgender identities. In November, Russia’s Supreme Court approved the designation as extremist of an ill-defined entity, the so-called “international LGBT movement,” effectively criminalizing any activity perceived as supportive of LGBTQI+ persons. Businesses and individuals operating in Russia are encouraged to be mindful of risks created by the Russian government’s passage of the LGBT propaganda law and suppression of transgender persons. "

@@waffler-yz3gw that's right, I am gonna delete your toxic comment, because YOU CAN DO BETTER. you can GROW up and BE AUTHENTIC TO me and I 🥰🥰🥰 My phone is an hour away and I will get it 😭 I can you 💝 the same as taiga or I can do it has to have to be a little better than the bass of the dragon 🐉 in the same place in Florida and he was given a few weeks to get out at the end 🔚 and he had a great time for the same time he was given a few weeks ago and he was a little confused 😕😕😕 and he said he was given to the Jesus Christ he was a little mermaid and he was given a new age to the Jesus Christ YOU were self-thinkers to me and I will get you a picture of the dragon ball that you want to be a friend
I guess it’s all how you define great. Jaco always had a hard time working steady despite his “greatness!” If people generally don’t want to hire you or pay you to play, and other players don’t really enjoy playing with you, then what’s the point? Bassists who are always getting hired on a regular basis by top producers, contractors and performers is how I define great. They have something people want. Jaco and his ilk like Jeff Berlin and all the copy cats out there now are simply interesting oddities. That’s why you see so many of these guys and girls who chose to copy these guys on RUclips from their bedrooms and not out playing with anyone of note willing to pay them to play. People want to hire solid bass players who can handle any type of gig and are easy to deal with. Jaco could do neither.
if it was Tab of this versión of liberty city, I probably practice a Lot this bro
The opening chords to Coyote always put a lump on my throat. It's so beautiful and ethereal.
Dogshit music
Wow. Wow. Wow! What a band. And Joni is incredible.
Amazing!!!🎉❤
another arsenal album... this one recently reissued with five missing bonus tracks including Ragtime!!!! Ragtime is a great song, @43:36 is crazy bass playing but @46:54 the same song has a bass solo
Beware! 42:00 the bass amp explodes with a slow march. 44:40 GYYYATT

This is the concert I've been waiting to hear for so long. I really appreciate you uploading it. Thank you very much.
Talento puro, una manifestación extraordinaria del arte musical. Mis respetos y admiración para los 3 músicos y muy especialmente a Michel Petrucciani.
A bunch of American asshole radicals thinking they run the world. Hmm. Sounds like today.
I came here after seeing your comment on the 'Xearching For Sounds' channel. Thank you for uploading these two Arsenal albums!
No disrespect to the amazing AJ, but it's real nice to hear the "real" jazz bass sound. MV is absolutely silky underneath MP's lyrical playing. SG is, well, SG. What more can one say?
Totally agree.
This has been a favorite album for years, thanks for posting it in such great quality!
I saw him play with Weather Report. Greatest music and bass playing that I ever heard.
This is a gold nugget. Few people really know about it.
my band BIG SIR was designed to emulate Joni + Jaco.
You are a great bass player
Toujours un album de tout temps.
The story about the bassist who didn't want to play Joni's tune the way she wanted it was so bizarre. Imagine balking when the bandleader and composer of the material you're playing wants particular bass notes at particular times. So unprofessional.
That first groove was pure funk! Saw him in '79, great talent and a real loss RIP Jaco
Not Jaco.
The second song is called Jaco. Mark Egan is playing bass here with Lyle Mays on keyboard
