Tbh i never complained about genshin i was hyping natlan so bad but a lot of things didn’t make any sense the original archon didn’t even got mentioned and the music changed from the trailer we can’t have motorcycles in the dinosaurs at the same time. It was the nation and there’s nothing related to pyro we got geo and hydro areas but not pyro💀 i love the design of the characters but it didn’t fit the theme of this area! And the sacrifice was so rushed they called it the nation of the dragons and we only saw one yes its pretty but don’t fit we can accept 2 crazy things but the whole characters have crazy things literally nothing was based on the original idea thank yew

I stop looking at Genshin fandom for quite a while, just a glance of its drama make me lose some of my braincells. I like Natlan AQ a lot. While there's no act in Natlan that give as high peak as Fontaine act 5, I like Natlan AQ as a whole a bit more than Fontaine bc of how bad Fontaine act 3 and early part of act 4 are. About pacing, I don't feel the AQ is too rushed but it gives me the feeling that Natlan story is still not finished bc - Fatui hasn't claimed the final gnosis. - We and Natlan characters just took most of the time saving the nations. I want more of their personal story. We don't even get character SQ (other than Mavuika) but tribal quest, which feels more like the story quests for the tribe than the character.

I am on Twitter mostly to talk to my friends and look at pretty fanart but unfortunately, the algorithm shows me discourse against my will. I was upset about the lack of skin tone diversity but as a middle easterner I wasn't surprised after Sumeru. Eventually I moved on and was just trying to enjoy the game but the complaints I kept seeing were excessive. Although skin tone is lacking there are other ways to represent culture that Genshin has attempted but it strikes me as odd and a bit racist that everyone decided that Natlan is irredeemable, and they miss Fontaine and can't wait to reach Snezhanya without seeing the irony of constantly hating on Natlan while praising a French inspired region and highly anticipating a Slavic one. All the while complaining that Genshin is racist. I think some people need to be reminded that it is okay to stop playing games that are no longer enjoyable to them.

omg tysm for making this video, to be honest i agree with most of the parts. and as a slight citlali fan who just got her i have to say the whole "fan service" stuff is just weirdly stupid but that's just the genshin fandom for you. esp on instagram and tiktok it's so annoying. not to be a hoyo defender but I'm pretty sure it says citlali is used to having people die on her because she's immortal so i guess that makes sense why she's so attached to traveler. and about the skin tone it's just yeah, why are white people THAT pissed. as a poc it was obvious hoyo wasn't gonna do anything abt it but im glad we had some kind of rep and as always it's just a game. sry for the long rant >_<

Genshin fandom is a scary place... I think its best to not interact with them much... Im not a huge Citlali fan idk much about her character yet but... that's fandoms for you Off topic but.... But i really love these kind of aesthetic videos of genshin players pulling, exploring and fixing their account. I find it nice for people to enjoy the game because games are there to entertain people 😊 nice vid keep it upp !!! ^⁠_⁠^^⁠_⁠^

I totally agree also, sorry if this is long, you're are so right about some of the fandom, who will only find ways to complain. But that aside it's so obvious that the devs are really trying something new with Natlan and I really appreciate the thought they've put in to it. Personally, I'm a little disappointed with the lack of some representation but at the same time not surprised and I still appreciate the existing characters. ANYWAY! I really liked hearing what you have to say about it, can't wait for your next post ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

I also want to mention the recent issue of Mizuki, wherein they said that she is a "fanservice" character like can you all use your brain

Also i still wanna mention that most of the points I made still apply for every game, especially gacha games. And yes, in some of them fanservice is pretty obvious yet i’ve seen people like it because of the lore, not because of the insane physics. Judging people you dont know based off what they play is insane work. If you dont like it, just dont play it. as easy as that🤷‍♀️ + i forgot to add something about citlali: even if she acts the way she does that doesn’t mean she can’t fall in love. feelings make u more human, I don’t see anything wrong with that
