I2C Same Address Solution with Multiplexer

In this video I use IC2 multiplexers to resolve address conflicts. Two sensors with the same I2C cannot be operated on the same bus. A multiplexer is required for this. This provides 8 new channels.
3D printed robot arm base with stepper motors
Просмотров 4,1 тыс.5 месяцев назад
In this video, I demonstrate the construction of a two-axis robot arm base. One axis allows for rotation, while the other enables tilting of the arm. The first axes are powered by NEMA-23 stepper motors and custom-designed gearboxes. Get print Files! stuffgetsmade.com/ "GD30" for 30% off Your purchase will help make the projects bigger! Loved this. However I think the stepper motors are a bit of a hindrance for driving the wheels, as they'll require more power than classic dc motors. Stepper motors are better suited for tasks requiring more power and precision (e.g. robot arm). Still keen to see future progress

Amazing, I love your designs. This would be ideal for an antenna tracker. Would it be possible to redesign with a centre hole for cables to pass through?
3:47 or 390kg 1cm that how silly it is
1:35 too loose better just use timing belt lol. no need download files bcoz they are made for extruder with what eva tolerance. resin can print 0tol lol
try M16 threaded worm gear with M16 bolt. for example 1:101 gear ratio. its pretty small. well the M16 rod is metal. off the shelf. yes a more traditional worm gear drive. yes 1:101 gear ratio in one gear step. not two gear boxes.
Nice.. 😅
This isn't a green house, It's a pergula.

nice work! I was messing around with the split gear configuration as well, but since it’s not back-drivable on 3D printed parts, I always expected a shock load to it would always break something, is that what you expect?
It is true that it has high torque but it works very loudly... especially when the parts are plastic
Without a lubricant, 3d printed parts are definitely noisier. I used standard bicycle grease for my gears and the difference is huge.
The most satisfying part is in the end when you see it working... oh wait... oops, you forgot the part where I was waiting for for 9 minutes.
Yeah now I feel dumb, is this meant to be used in some machine or just something for gear enthusiasts?
Can you make a video on the reverse of this for really high speed?
Nice build! Wondering if any our custom PCBs/3DP/CNC'd parts can assist for upcoming project/content? We're open to sponsor! (PCBWay zoey)
Hi! Please stl files and list of products 🎉❤🎉
Hello, what app are you doing which applies your prompt so easily to the drawn-box? Please and thank you! 🙏
3d files and links to products?
nice effort :)
❤❤❤
Can you please say how much torque you were able to achieve for the NEMA 23 ? Theoretically, assuming NEMA has 2.5 Nm torque capacity and the efficiency of two stages of gearbox is 60%, it would be 200+, but would it atleast able to hold till 100+ Nm? if you haven't tested yet, what is your guess?
Although it may break due to stress before getting to that level of torque
cool design, I've actually make a very similar gearbox myself although i've got more access to a machine shop so was able to make my gears out of metal. I'd be interested to see where you've found your sources for how to design each stage. The gearbox I've made has two separate sets of planets (could be 3D printed as one piece) and each set has the same number of teeth but a different pitch diameter, this does mean that each half of the reduction stage has a different module. per my understanding of these gearboxes i would think that your version would be the same as a regular planetary reduction with a single stage. Of course a good way to tell is just to test it! would be great to see a video with motor turning 258.4 times and see if the output rotates a full 360 degrees. Also id highly recommend looking into embedded nuts for your 3D printed parts if you haven't already.
Hey it's split ring compound planatery right , that can achieve 1:500 at max or even more
@@notyetnotnowyouknow From my understanding of how these gearboxes work this is not a split ring compound planetary gearbox. Heres a link to a great video by David Hartkop explaining in more depth how these gearboxes work: ruclips.net/video/-VtbSvVxaFA/видео.html
@@clad2544 The confusion is that in this design second stage has the same diameter but a different number of teeth. It seems like there is a slight module mismatch. This kinda works, but it is not efficient, there will be unnecessary extra friction. Your design is a proper way to do these gearboxes. Planets should be made of 2 slightly different gears.
So this is different from split ring compound planatery, this one ruclips.net/video/66MlWxoQE1s/видео.htmlsi=zQ5RXLBZAUaG618H
I wanted a gearset with highest reduction ratio at small space , I did design one but not 3d printed yet as I don't have access to one at the moment,so don't know if it's going to work
Let's try
i love the design you made for the drip irrigation!!
Thanks :)

That was somewhat touching, actually :,) It's a great and simple children's story with cute pictures
Wow! This is so cool.
this is amazing.
Was just thinking about making a childrens book with AI images, this shows it's possible!
Parents with a little bit of work can now visualize and create any story that would fit their children
wow this could definitely be automated for generating revenue sometime in the future, when things run faster
not bad.
nicely done!
