There is no need for recovery partition, this process itself creates that in existing partition as hidden mount, winre.wim file you will notice will disappear from the Recovery folder. So you do not need to create recovery partition, this process fixes your option to reset your OS. If it's an OEM machine you really do not want any of the bloatware that comes with it from the manufacturer. @@RyzK_ guessing you have bitlocker on usb drives that its detecting. Try to see if you can plug them in with bitlocker and turn them off as the error message says on those removable drives. Go to control panel and see which drives got bitlocker on it. Do you have partitions on same drive and bitlocker on those partitions?

@@hashtagtnt fixed sir, windows 11 home doesnt have bitlocker menu, so i tried another method to descrypted C and work thank you sir 😃

@@RyzK_ Excellent to hear that.. Yes Windows 11 home doesn't have bitlocker technically, but it is enabled I know its weird.. powershell command should have worked but if not feel free to share with others what worked just in case someone else has same issue.

I will post the video about b7 error, but you might be sol and have to do a in-place windows install, I had to sadly do that cause even the b7 error fix didnt help.. are you trying to keep your files etc. intact or can live with full wipe ? Can i ask what system is it, is it OEM and what OS ? Home/Pro ? Microsoft really has uttered screwed some of us with these stupid crap things that break for no reason.

Is the file there install.wim as you typed ? Verify manually by browsing to the location. Also wondering of you have enough free space on disk ? And what is the index value you are using, which version of windows is it you have ? Home or Pro ?

@@ShiybuijL7 yeah follow the video get the iso do steps listed. Delete old files you have in the recovery folder and replace with the new ones making sure you use right index value. If you have followed all steps as shown you should not have issue with enabling it. Also note did you try resetting in the first place if its enabled it should work. What error you get when doing reset?

yikes.. wait.. you are still on same windows installed version, never did a clean install or reset and on same hardware still ? So You were on XP upgraded in place to WIn7 then to Windows 10 or windows 11 inplace upgrade?

@hashtagtnt no I tried to restore guest on windows 11. And Explorer kept crashing. I had windows 7 on my old pc. But for some reason only the main guest account has this problem. If you create another account with the same permissions it will work just fine but still kinda weird. Another weird thing is that guest doesn't show up on settings neither in control panel.

@hashtagtnt also windows keeps opening userinit.exe the event log says something about the com surrogate failing to load then a memory address? I Don't know what Microsoft did to make this problem present.

Quick question are you logged in as administrator and command prompt running under admin privileges ? FYI B7 means the recovery partition is already enabled from articles online. Are you having issues with resetting the pc and getting could not find recovery environment error ? This is an interesting one. Have you copied over the new files to the recovery folder on system32 ? Also the index value will matter too.

except linux had exploits just as bad if not worse. because few if any people read all the code changes it's not uncommon for people to slip bad code into packages that take years to catch.

I am glad they found it, it's 15 years overdue and I think this has been exploited too but hacking community never shared this flaw as it gets them a nice cool backdoor. LOL heck I think MS did know about it and still didnt care cause they want to leave a backdoor for themselves as well .. Recall feature being another of their spying backdoor crap.. I am daily checking to see if patch has been released for this, but nothing so far. I hate to see some hacker group taking down something critical using this newly found backdoor.. How many backdoor's exists only time will tell.. but this one hits too close to home as I cannot live without Hyper-v :(.

@@hashtagtnt honestly it is nothing to worry about unless your doing business on your computer and not a home business but i am talking big corporation. if not hackers don't need any ones personal pc info half you shit is already out there on the internet.

@michaelperugini4199 does your camera support ip address? If it has rstp or rtmp feed options available you can use it with agent DVR. Can you provide exact model? I do not think looking online, Arlo supports or provided RTSP feeds. Also note if you are using battery wifi camera, you will drain the battery quickly if you are using some dvr system to look at their feed continuously. That is probably why most of such cameras would not provide or offer rtsp or rtmp etc. feeds.
