I miss this mall. I used to come to Rolling Acres Mall all the time. This was my favorite mall back in my childhood and teenage years. It sucks what happened with this mall. Now Chapel Hill Mall is out of business. I miss that mall as well. So now, Summit Mall is now the only mall open in Akron now and they're still going strong. I miss these malls. At least the Summit Mall and the Belden Village Mall are still open as well as the Eastwood Mall in Niles, Ohio. These malls are still going strong to this day.

I know the owners. Trust me even though it looks like this they ain't losing money. Used to be booming but this is Ashtabula in a nutshell. Our county is a dump. It sucks but what are you gonna do?

I remember when this place first opened and I was Christmas shopping there! So crowded and lively, so sad to see it this way. I don't live to far away but its been a couple years since I have visited this mall. I don't know if it can be saved but it would be nice to see it full again.

Late stage capitalism on full show. Big old empty buildings, with no one to use them. No one can afford to be there, presumably because e-commerce has become so efficient it undercuts all of their in person sales. What’s the point of maintaining a physical presence if you make all your money from the internet. It’s sad really, for nostalgic types and for people who remember this way of life. But for many in rural areas, this kind of thing is dying. And I don’t know if there’s anyway to protect it :(

I miss the old Canton Centre/Mellet Mall. My grandpa and I went to Hot Dogs N More countless times, we went to see a number of movies, and I can't tell you how many times I went to the book store and Camelot Music. It's stupid that we gave up all of this.

Loved playing this, as a select wind ensemble, this sounded like it was top highschool level music, and the fact that some of us are 7th and eighth graders. Even though it sounded like tubas were blaring on stage, it honestly turned out better than I thought. Can't wait to play folk song suite at our next concert.

I had a lot of memories of this place. Man, we used to go shopping here, and eat at the food court. We used get Borbon Chicken, get slushies and went Christmas shopping. 😀

It’s a lot worse now.. Is the mall officially closing? Dang the Friday’s and Days inn is officially boarded up. Not surprised though.
