By touch text do you mean, raised lettering or a raised logo off the surface? If so then doing UV printing would be a much better choice. With some types of UV printing you can do complete 3-D text and raised graphics. A fiber laser is etching into the material but not at a depth where you can feel it. If you use a fiber on softer metals like brass, aluminum or such you can etch into them to make textures but it takes a lot of power and time to do it.

@@mendy770 this is a 30w Mopa fiber laser. You can loop the program for more depth, I always go light on passes. It take trial and testing to get it right for your inks.

Not sure why you would have part of the design correct and part out, but it might be something out of alignment or you are writing larger than the lens will support. It may take breaking the text into two areas and doing two jobs?

@@KRSbumpbars hey! Thanks for the reply, I think you didn't understand me correctly, the design is aligned correctly. And its just a small test. But the laser seems to just pass through the polycarbonate at some points, and burn the rear side (down, facing the table) instead of burning the top side (facing the laser) 🤔

We do two passes of the print over the same spot. You can do white with two passes then the color on top also.

This is a 30w fiber, i do not remember the power setting but it was low. Leather burns fast .

Do not have a What's App number. What question do you have?

You should contact the ones who sold it to you both the rotary and the fiber to ask for instructions. There are a lot of different control boards some support rotary sone do not. I am doubtful that I could really help much with out direct input from the sellers.

There is a jig that holds the shirts. It is a simple flat platform that the shirt hangs down the sides. Then they tuck into the sides, held by a rubber wedge. Simple and it stays in place.

@@goldcoasttime the resolution is very high, it is vector graphics so the dot size is more related to the ink and pad quality. I would think it is much better than 300 dpi.

The manufacturer sells the ink. Direct Color Systems; this is the Flexible ink.

This one with the Flexible ink works great on about everything. Sometimes you have to pre-treat a material to get the ink to hold but overall they are great.

I made this and others about 7 months ago. They have been worn and wash many times. They still look very good and I have not been kind to them, I wear them everywhere all the time.

Error codes, at least you get an error. You will need to contact your machine manufacture or go to their website to see if you can get an error code list to see what it might be.

We print uni-directional on shirts instead of bi-directional. This is set in the print Queue section of the post processor. We found that the printer is not perfect on shirts when going both directions. Let me know if you have a different question.

Ahmad: The Heat press is absolutely necessary, it will not stay without it and you have to pre-press it to get the fibers down before printing. My press (Amazon $175) is not a good one and I am going to have to get a much better one. The problem is not a good consistent uniform heat. Everyone I have spoken with says a swing-arm ($ 1500.00 + ) is the only type that will work correctly. DCS printers require the pre-treatment to be Distilled water while other printers use a chemical pre-treatment. Settings: I will have to check, our DCS printer has queues you use for shirt types and colors. Poly, Cotton, Dark, Light, Poly-Blend all have different queues and settings.

I used the Vectric program: Aspire. This is a gadget add in, it may work in V-Carve pro too but I do not know. Real easy to use just define the size and teeth and it makes the gear. I will see if I can make a screen recording of how to do it, but it is simple.
