BIOTECH CONSULTING LIFE 🧬🧫🏙🧪📊💰🌊 🌺🐠🐎 (and apartment tour)
Life these days after becoming a biotech consultant! A glimpse at my living space and a chat about the past couple years.
At a glance: After getting a BS in biology, I became involved in biotech consulting, IR, market surveillance, and pharmaceutical financing strategy, enabling companies to complete IPOs. I also expanded into other market sectors, working on companies focused in IoT, drone manufacturing, industrial construction, and environmental goods and services.

    First of all welcome back. This is really one of the best vlogs I’ve seen, you seem down to earth and have so much going on in life. Exploring around and having so many hobbies :) that is what all life about. You did a lot I guess so far after these couple of years, and I am sure you will do more in the future. I liked the simplicity of the place and how you arranged everything and put them in order in the video. Congrats on what you achieved and please do more videos. Hopefully when you travel around as well. Ps: I will try your coffee mix and I bet it will be great :)

    Is Monmouth a good school? What's the GPA requirement?

    • @Skye_post
      @Skye_post Год назад

      Hey Huda! My personal opinion was that it was outstanding in specific departments, and less prestigious in others, but overall a reputable school with a great academic structure. The MEBP program made tremendous strides, social work also had a great reputation nationally. I believe Monmouth’s acceptance rate is between 80 and 85%, so in theory if your GPA was lower but you had a really high SAT/ACT and a good essay, you could get in. I believe a 3.5 makes your odds much more likely though

      @@Skye_post Gotcha! When applying to this college, are there any scholarship opportunities that high school students can get? Also, does Monmouth have a pre med program?

    hi what are the students like at monmouth? Are they friendly for the most part? And are the majority of ppl from NJ or are there ppl from NY, surrounding areas too. Thanks!

    • @Skye_post
      @Skye_post Год назад

      Hey Ava! On campus there is definitely a welcoming culture, thanks to the school being smaller. You tend to see the same faces and get to know people pretty quickly, which definitely makes the transition less scary. They also have a zero tolerance policy for discriminatory bullying. There’s quite a few locals commuting from home in NJ, but I also had a good number of friends from Long Island and Staten Island, and some international! That being said, Greek life had some questionable stories and situations, and the general rule for colleges is that if it’s off campus, it’s a little out of their hands. While I certainly don’t think this is exclusive to this university, the administration was a little disengaged when problems off campus were brought to their attention. I hope this is helpful to you!

    So I’m in community college right now studying towards my associates degree and then transferring to any four year university in two years. I’m considering either Rutgers or Monmouth because my girl goes there lol any advice?

    • @Skye_post
      @Skye_post 2 года назад

      Hey Adi! It definitely depends on your major. Truthfully, Rutgers is well-known compared to Monmouth, but Monmouth does have some outstanding programs. Monmouth has much smaller classes, which is great if you want to be able to go to your professors office hours and have their undivided attention when you want help. It’s also easy to navigate, and you don’t need a car to get from one class to another because the campus is small. But Rutgers is very reputable in a variety of majors, and if you’re not sure where you want to be or what you want to do after you graduate, it may give you more options. I hope that helps!
