Out of nowhere, LaGuardia started transferring out their MCI D4500CLs. In addition, numerous Prevosts within every single MTA Bus Company depot, have been transferring left and right. The plan is to shift out all D4500CLs from LaGurdia, as their count has decreased from whatever the fuck last week, to one as of today, that being 3289, which you see in this video. Due to a loss of 3rd rail power at Delancey Essex Streets, trains were fucked left to right and up and down. I don’t wanna get too deep in the details since I wasn’t there the entire time, but due to a lot of congestion, 6th Avenue trains ran via 8th Avenue. Here’s one of them, a (B) that was slated to go via 8th Avenue (C), and Culver (F) to Coney Island. Filmed on Tuesday, July 16th 2024.

During the weekends in the summer, Shuttle trains are extended to Rockaway Boulevard. They become a full 10 car train. This basically grants permission for the shuttle to choose whatever is in Pitkin yard. Example here, being R211s. This will be much more common now. Filmed on Saturday, July 14th 2024.
