100% agree repositioning great.... did P&O Southampton to Caribbean with fly back from Barbados.... the leisurely days wafting across the Atlantic totally "out of comms" was a great way to totally relax & chill....... you can also get great deals on them as they don't seem to be popular.
We love repositioning cruises and have one planned later this year.

@cruisingwithkristen Baked Alaska? Sorrento's was very convenient on several occasions! We're back from our first cruise. Five days was not long enough 😊
@@geraldm7435 Baked Alaska is a dessert served in the Main Dining Room, usually on the last formal night. It's Neapolitan ice cream in cake with whipped cream, cherries, chocolate and caramel toppings. Sometimes they light it up.

Great information and comparison Kristen! We had the all included drink package for our first cruise on NCL but didn’t have any drink package for our second cruise on Carnival. I think some sort of a drink package is the way to go depending on your needs to save money. Great video! Thanks so much for sharing!
You're welcome! We always get the drink package. I practically LIVE on soda, so I can easily down enough drinks to have the package pay for itself.

@@aMuncieChannel You're welcome! Del Sol is a must for me every time I go to a country that has one (the closest one is 3+ hours from me). Lazy River is huge and takes about 20 min. to go through. There's absolutely NO cruise control on that river.
We loved Puerto Rico but wish we had got to explore more. I really wanted to visit Plaza Las Americas Mall, the largest mall in the Caribbean and still has a SEARS open! Great video and information Kristen!

I’ve been to NYC a couple of times to document closing Kmart’s and Sears stores. We did visit Liberty Park in Jersey City across the Hudson River which has amazing views of Manhattan along with a 9/11 memorial. Great video Kristen! I would love to visit 30 Rock next time I’m there!
Thanks! NYC is one of my favorite places in the world, been there about 7-10 times. That's where I originally saw "CATS" and fell in love with Broadway and anything theater. I'd love to tour NBC Studios or Paramount Studios. Would also love to take a "Friends" or "Only Murders In The Building" tour. I already toured Radio City, but would love to see the Rockettes there.

Great tips and information! I use a Gorilla Pod on my camera/ phone which helps me with keeping it steady and easier to use. Thanks for sharing Kristen!
No problem! I use either my GoPro strap or a selfie stick to keep my camera steady.

The galley tour, like the backstage tour in the theatre, was FREE on the Regal Princess.
Good to know, I'm set to go on Ruby Princess in 2026.

Great video and tour Kristen! RC has some amazing free food offerings! I haven’t sailed on RC yet but so far my favorite free food is Shaq’s Big Chicken on Carnival. Thanks for sharing!

@@aidaadams8917 You get a lot of bang for your buck on this ship. She's due to be refurbished (amplified) I believe next year, so she'll have more bells and whistles than what I was able to see. I've also been on Carnival 4 times, both are great lines, but it depends on what you want out of your vacation.
