I got so overwhelmed today just walking into a quiet medical room for my sleep apnea appointment. The poor nurse was not ready for a crying nonverbal adult. I didn’t realize how much stress was on my shoulders until I was in a low stimulating room. The doctor said he wasn’t surprised that I wasn’t sleeping much anymore.
