Though Elsa is a girl, she looks like one of Beatles from the 1960s. She must have gone thru a phase where the hair on her head was sticking up like Woodstock, the bird that kept company with Snoopy. As always Elsa is gorgeous.

I had 4 of these beauties when I was younger, and they are one of the best breeds ever! They are loyal, affectionate, fun, and full energy. I really miss those times. If you're thinking about this breed, please know they are not backyard dogs ( are any really) they need to be a part of the family day to day activities. If you do that, they will bring you so much joy❤

Hey, At what age did she become comfortable in the car? Our Irish setter boycie has always been scared or the car and is sick often. He is 5.5 months. :)

I totally disagree. I grew up with them. You cannot recommend them to all of your audience. They need approximately 4h walking a day, they are smart and as hunting dogs, they need tasks. Otherwise, they’ll get bored. They are not for everybody. Especially not for people with no time or space on their hands.

I have dreamed of an Irish setter since I qas 14 years old. Now being 62 I don't know whether I could be capable of suiting this breed's requirements - maybe in the mere interest of the dog I should let my dream go...

I miss my Irish setter so much. That soul was so pure and so innocent and happy especially when she see my family members. But when she would see a bird then she would go in hunting and tracking mode not carrying for the world

The most beautiful dog I ever owned..I use to stay up watching her sleep.overly friendly and she loved me , knew how much I loved her, all.dogs go to heaven certainly
