We were there in mid February. It wasn’t crowded at all during the day or evening. It was actually valentines weekend as well. We did the exact same thing - we took professional pics through the whole property. The hotel helped us find the photographer too. They also don’t mind if you roam around and take tons of pics. Yes, it was $750 USD for the villa with its private pool and also private sections of the beach. However, there are smaller rooms without the extras. I think the cheapest room was $300 a night which is pretty good for such a nice resort!

There is no seaweed on this beach. The seaweed is more prominent on the Cancun side. These waters aren’t as rough and don’t bring in the big piles of seaweed like in Cancun. Hope this helps!!

No I didn’t see any and I’m pretty sure they do not have that kind of thing. It’s a pretty cheap hotel so there’s no luxuries. I hope there is a laundry place nearby for you when you visit.

The boat ride is short. Less than 10 minutes. No, you can’t take the boat back. The boat ride is just something they do as a welcoming. You can either request a golf cart, take a bicycle that they provide or just walk back. Most people take the golf cart. I hope you enjoy your stay at Banyan Tree!

Yes, you are correct. There is a bar inside the actual pool and people can drink alcohol. 😂

Yes, you are correct, if you are staying on the side where the beach is. Some rooms are not on the beach. So it depends on what area of the resort you are staying in. It would be good to call and check if your room is along the beach before booking.

We were going to book one of the rooms on the lagoon, but this perk might be worth spending the extra money for the oceanfront option. Thanks!@@ericjordangoingplaces

Hi! Yes there are staff on the beach area and they are very attentive.

The food was ok. They don’t do Mexican food well. The restaurant Fantino has very good pasta and Italian food. They also have a piano performance every night at dinner and they play piano pop covers which was cool. The D-Lounge has good sushi and sometimes there’s a band playing.

I am glad you have a bigger picture of the hotel rooms here! Enjoy your stay at the Seal Rock Inn. It is truly a special place with nice and calm energy.
