I remember when I saw him get punched in the face by the institutional bully, and and his lip was bleeding and he started crying. I wanted to die. It was one of the saddest things I've ever seen. This healing is so profound. Prayers for the ones who never made it out. And for the Christians who know and don't act, I'm looking forward to Judgment Day.

This is Liz Zubko's Aunt Becky. Thank you for what your are doing in the lives of these young men. It is amazing to see what God and a lot of love can do.

Make salsa with the tomatillo's. Use 2 to 1 of tomato to tomatillo. I like a little bit more tomatillo. Wash really well after you take the skin off. Has a sticky skin but will wash off with a little elbow grease. You can also char them for some extra flavor. It's like a lemony green tomato.

It looks fantastic but I am surprised that the soil is not dark. It looks like sand. Looks like you will be set for the winter.

I was watching the video and heard (what I thought to be) my timer going off. Went to look and it "mysteriously" stopped! Yep, it wasn't MY timer, it was in your kitchen! Too funny. I think all the gardens in Oregon will be planted late this year. Snow and rain have made gardening impossible here. Summer Camp! What fun the guys will have. Starting out with days only may be the best way to go. Learning as you go along will make planning for the next year a little easier. And your daughter making that next big step in her life is exciting. I remember when my daughter left to attend nursing school in Portland. Only 90 miles away but still gone. Fortunately now there are more ways to electronical communicate and to be able to see one another via the internet. Not as good as a hug, but still can make your heart happy. It is so good to see you smiling and happy and reporting all the progress being made in so many different facets of life on the homestead. Thanks for sharing!
