This model J brick seems really cool! Is it better than the Model R that I bought and still haven’t been able to use because you sent me a defective product and stopped answering emails and discontinue the consumer support number? Or should we also expect 6 months to pay a fortune for a bike that does not work?

I am looking for it! I ordered it for Father’s Day in 2024 and still can’t ride it. You sent me a defective product, then told me to take it to mechanic, and you haven’t answered him since Dec 12. I’d love to call and have a chat, you you also cut the phone line for customer support. Let me know how to contact you, because phone and email are not working.

My bike just arrived today. It is a model J. I have the antitheft. The fob is not working at all. It lights up but no sound is made. The only time I get a sound notification is when I flip the switch on the battery.

It was a real program but the Administrator and his friends sold spots in line AND opened up the line earlier than they had advertised, securing those previously sold e-bike vouchers. I am sure they made thousands and thousands of $$. This program and the Administration should be investigated by the State of California. Please everyone, contact your State Representative, fax him or her a letter and contact him or her by phone and tell them what happened and should be investigated ASAP. These thieves need prison time!

Why do you keep saying "model R"? There is a published list of eligible ebike brands and models. For example, they list the Euphree City Robin. But how about the Euphree Stellar Falcon? It's essentially similar but not listed. Must we buy only from the list?

Seems that all you need is a throttle. Get a scooter instead.

I kinda agree and kinda don't. If you have a cadence sensor with no throttle, it can be difficult to get going from a standing start, especially if you're in a higher gear or trying to continue up a hill. Why? Because cadence sensors won't engage the motor right away. You may have to turn the crank, (pedals) a whole half revolution before the motor kicks in to get going. So there's a very noticable lag from when you start pedaling to when you get motor assistance. If you're on a heavier fat tire bike and in a higher gear, this can be difficult to get started. With a torque sensor, as soon as you apply pressure to the pedals, the motor kicks in almost immediately, making it easier to get going. This is why I believe throttles aren't as necessary with torque sensor e-bikes. With a cadence sensor a throttle is a good thing to have, you can use it to get that initial start off the line. I have a 95lb fat tire e-bike with cadence sensor. The throttle is very handy to just give me that push from a standing start to take up the motor lag.

It seems just to loosen it then tighten your right back where you started? Yup just tried it, loosen top and bottom wheel spins free, tighten up and the same problem, Im I supposed to leave bolts loose? What do you mean by small adjustments? Are you tweaking the rotor by hand?

This is all great and good if you know what you are doing. At some point, everyone is a noob to this. That's where I'm at right now. My front brakes rub against the front sprocket. I bought it online, and arrived with some assembly to be done. Per the norm from what I've seen. I know I bought a Dual Sport Motorcycle that came the same way this bike did. However, I have 40+ yrs of motorcycle experience. while this may rate as a moped/scooter or minibike. It's still not the same. I have no idea what you are doing, other than talking.

These locks JAM at an alarming rate. The wafer keys are junk. I do not know what pot-metal they make them out of but mine just twisted like butter ans snapped.

Are ALL MIK carriers compatible with the MIK adapter plate? I have a feeling that mine's too narrow based on incomplete and confusing information on the internet.

I have a T1000 ebike by ETCycle. Just tried replacing the brake pads, but they seem too thick, as there isnt enough space for rotor without brake applied. It is the correct pads. Is there an adjustment on the actuator to open this space a little? Or i guess i can sandpaper the pads down somewhat?

the direct driver sounds very good.. do you also offer a belt drive? those were a game changer on motorcycles that i had

In Florida we have lots of trails and SUVs. Bike racks are expensive and lifting up a full size e bike is not practical. I disagree that it falls apart with use.
