What did he do? Why flip the sod in a sandwich? Did the taters go in the sandwiched sod? Did they grow new 1s there? What's the finaL side trench for? Please give mor3 details, why... my speakers r useless half the t8me.
😮
Wonderful!
Jaysis. Where did they get the cash to buy that place? 100 acres too!? 😲🤯
I live in Ardee, which (please correct me if I'm wrong here) ... Had the largest raised peat bog in the east? So, we live in a mediaeval burgage property and like to keep it as old looking as possible. We also like to recycle and find new uses for old rubbish. (Mattresses are easy,... I should set up a business!! Anyway,... I built a big of my own in the garden... From an old fridge (made safe). Was hoping/wondering... If I got some turf and put it in,... Would it grow bog plants? Or would at least some of it have to be a top layer? I heard we can't buy turf for a while but would I be allowed in these circumstances? I'm thinking it would be great for the bees ... To have it in the middle of the town! 😅
Hello sir. Hope you are well. I have watched your channel videos. Your video is great but your video optimization is very bad 1. SEO score is very low 2. title is very long- description - tags are SEO friendly 3. No shares are many problems on social media platforms and your RUclips channel You need SEO for your RUclips channel immediately I am waiting for your response. Thank you.
Nice
Good
Your a Leonardo da Vinci with a shovel.
On behalf of you personally and on behalf of the intire group of Gormanston Park volunteers, I'm deeply grateful for the wonderful excursion to Fenix Park in Dublin. We loved it an exciting program and a tour of Sanctuary in Nature and Heritage. Thanks Fiona, Paddy Woodworth, Muhammad Achour for your fruitful work and for our positive emotions!
Amazing park and essential project
❤
Thanks for sharing this, the Community Grant Scheme was so helpful to our project and this video allows us to share the potential impact it can have. All lighting should be dark sky friendly!
Is there a way of getting a review of the historic town centre of Tallaght please ?
Such a great project and great people to work with, well done SN&H
Ar fheabhas ar fad! :-)
There is a book on potatoes I came across. It argued had this technique been stuck with the potato famine in Eire would have been ameliorated.

Great job you did .. very informative and correct .I put in potatoes like this over 40 years ago with my granddad
Interesting! Two questions: (1) How many acres might needed in such land to produce enough potatoes for a typical family? (2) Is it possible to get in a second crop afterwards in some areas?
I planted 8-9 long rows( small 40x10, and 30x30 garden plots) And I gave out shopping bags full to visitors and ate a bunch and still have a ton left to plant this year! So yea, less than a half acre would give you more than you can eat. Plus family, plus neighbors, plus friends.
What a great explanation. It is indeed called a "lazy Bed" but it's far from lazy. I used to make lazy bed but now I grow my spuds in old paint buckets. It's cheap!, easy and plentiful. Just chuck them into a wheelbarrow come harvest or carry the buckets into a shed for winter storage. Works equally well for carrots and onions.
When u carry buckets into shed for winter.. do you leave potatoes soil etc in the buckets??
@@fuchsiagreen1377 hello Fuchsia Green. Yes indeed I just carry the buckets into my shed. I have small drainage holes at the bottom and last year I grew a new variety called "JACKY" which is a new blight free spud from Holland. Good luck with your garden this year.
Always thought Faye had the perfect name as I felt she had a very faerie-like quality about her :)
A great project all round.
so cool!
coolio
Would it be better to dig these beds in winter and weed out in april before laying the potatoes? Giving some time for decomposistion of the grass/weeds
What a fantastic project! History, trees, and Youth ❤️❤️❤️🐝 🌳 🌲
Super project - well done to all involved!! #CTCHC #heritagematters

What is heritage council stand for
Well done lads, we've taken the first steps to get our own community solar farm going in Laois and it was Community Power who have us the idea. Just to let people know that there are now much better government supports for community energy and if anyone wants to set up a community energy group, your local county council will provide a mentor to guide you through the process and show you how to avail of funding. Regards Oliver
Great video thanks!
Is this a scam
Should i put shutters in my bay window? Right now i have heavy velvet curtains.

I'm super proud to live in a Burgage plot. I don't think it's changed much at all, all things considered.
What an amazing woman :-)
What has been done to denny at and day places fantastic looks great these streets should be advertised as tourists destinations we have loads of history with Tralee that very few no about
Turning the sod it called coping as you cope the sod over
This was very informative! But why are they called "lazy beds"?? That looked like a good workout! I'm in the United States in Ohio...I think I'll try this for my potatoes this year (2022).
Perhaps due to English colonizer prejudice❔
Inspiring.
Brilliant.
Thanks so much! I love this!
