A video for Royal Marines Cadets
Hello Royal ❤️
This will be helpful because I’m a royal marine cadet
Take a shot everytime a bootneck says "Ok"
Thanks for the vídeo.
Ah Matt Reardon he was my DL in training.
Try not to over shape the beret
.
i have the exact same ironing board. wtg soldier. ps the wife said your welcome round anytime to do her ironing 😃
I do mine inside out or use a tea towel so I don't get the sheen on the fabric.
Liked and subscribed 🇬🇧🇸🇪🇬🇧
I prefer the Swedish and American folds where the pattern is on the outside and the sleeves can be quickly pulled down to the wrists.
USMC does the same tho
That only works if you have huge cuffs though
While I would totally agree wearing MTP PCS with creases in the jacket & trousers looks much smarter, and the RM & RMC certainly do, this is totally contrary to the MOD PAM (spec) for the uniform which clearly states that "to be ironed flat with no creases made". The Army don't do creases ! 😀
What the MOD says and what looks good are very different indeed, and personally I would rather look good
This guy should make an ASMR vid.
Just asking whats the best way to conduct a uniform inspection
Much respect for my RM cousins, Have said it before, USMC needs to completly revamp boot camp and OCS to RM TTP. What I cannot stand id how after extensive training on how to properly fit, shape and wear a beret, come Marines and paras can turn it into a golf cap, floppy chef hat ot mushroom and Officers wont correct it. Thay (Marines and paras) are hard as nails and could easly be actual SOF, but damn, wear you cover properly
Oh lovely. Well done sir. Good effort. Lovely. Very much enjoyed. Could say ‘I couldn’t have done better myself’ but I probably could give you a run for your ‘quids’ (I’ve been to Britain!). It’s a lost skill, but know that British servicemen know how to push an iron. Love and best wishes from An ironing fan and professional from Texas. 💗
This is what a proper soldier should look like. Greetings from Macedonia <3
Why does he look like max verstappen
caw.. caw... caw...
Brilliant stuff 👏. Soldier .
Fully Camouflaged....apart from the white elastic round the helmet...don't they make black elastic anymore
They made a video about the most useless head cover in the military...
Clearly you dont realise how important the beret is in rm culture
@@finng3283 not talking about traditions/culture or identifying branch and regiment etc. Talking about the usefulness of that gear for a soldier in the field.
@@1.forestrunner It would be fortunate then that 99% of gear a soldier would use in the field doesnt need to be shaven, dampened, and shaped to the individual before use then.
It's a good thing then that they dont wear the beret in the field now isn't it!!@@1.forestrunner
@@JoshuaBurt3D They actually do wear it in the field. It does not protect you against rain, nor sun, does not break up the silhouette etc. Just check out the introduction of the new British service rifle. The soldiers wear during shooting exercise...yes a beret.
You guys get to fold your sleeves? *cries in Canadian*
poor folding. iron every fold
This comment has absolutely changed my kit ironing. Thank you
Once uve finish ironing get a brush and brush up
Need to take a disposable razor to that to make it nice and clean.
Mannerisms a plenty here. 69 times I heard the word OK mentioned.🤔
Hahaha y'all did him wrong with the thumbnail for the video 😂
Is the British Army getting free advertisment on You Tube.
This is the royal marines
Navy not Army.
@@billyperkins9617as an army cadet, the uniform is very similar and the video is really helpful anyway 🤷♀️
Mate look at the beret it’s the royal marines
'...ensuring the cap badge is over my left eye...(except for when I actually wear my beret, when it's on its way to being over my left ear).'
It's a 45 thing...
So that's what they teach squiddies in to days army
Personal pride in kit and attention to detail is incredibly important. Also these guys are not Army.
