Wow! I hung out at this mall in the late 80s through the 90s. I worked at both FAO SHWARZ and Eddie Bauer. This is unrecognizable to me!😔

This mall has become a very sad place! It was a very nice, upscale mall with a Cartier and Lord and Taylor! I do not even recognize this mall from where it was 20 years ago. Very sad.

It starts on Big Bend Blvd in Richmond Heights (inner suburb of St Louis) then I 64 to merge onto I-70 Wentzville.

The first 2:45 of this is actually I-64 from midtown St.Louis, which ends at I-70 at Wentzville. And the last part is I-670 in Kansas City, exiting at Broadway. Get ready for the orange cone highway: 70 is to be rebuilt between Wentzville and Blue Springs, starting in 2024.

You were on I-64 in st.louis..

Kansas River is cool, in Lawrence a bunch of tunnels connect it to the town, where they used to use turbines on Massachusetts streets to mill grain, and wash clothes, and things like that.... but those tunnels flow to a lake called Mary's Lake, and that lake, being man-made, is a tool, they probably used to make ships, for a long long time. Even archeological evidence points to Vikings and Native Americans, maybe Knights Templar using this area. On the lake would've sat a wheel, that was used as an angle grinder, to cut the wood that still grows there into angled planks. One day in winter I saw the wheel there, it's just limestone chunks and gravel now, but it used to use water, to spin a bigger wheel on the lake, that cut the wood. The wood still is there in a Grove, you just cut the top 2/3rds, and it grows back, to harvest in another 20 years. The trees used to be a gravesite, in older times, and the lake was originally used differently... by the original Native Americans who built it from blood and water. Those ships, could've sailed down the Kansas River, to the Missouri, to the Mississippi, to the Sea... and to God knows where, And those trees still being there, you could maybe compare the DNA of ancient ships and shipwrecks to prove they come from Kansas.

I don't think this is I-70, it looks like I-64. At least for the first part of the video.

One of the worst drives.

I’ve traveled up to Pike’s Peak on the little train that they have. It was fun. It didn’t go super fast and I think this helped My husband to easily adjust to the altitude. Flash forward 30 years. My son in law lives his keep. We pile in, to ride to the top of Pike’s Peak. We went up really fast. When we got to the top, everyone for my baby grandson, was totally green and feeling like we were going to be very sick.

I thought that Missouri would be just like Iowa. Iowa was fairly flat with not a lot of hilly curving roads. This video shows that Missouri is hilly in places and has some curving. Very interesting drive. You definitely would not get bored driving it.
