Hi. I've checked my picture... This should work: KB CV to VCF cutoff, osc saw to lfo rate, VC mix to ext audio, multiple 1 into mix1, multiple 2 in vfc res, lfo sqr in mix 2, lfo tri into multiple... 🤔 Then enjoy playing with the cutoff and lfo rate switch. For more depth put an additional delay behind... I add some reverb. Now I have the zoom Ms 70 cdr. This is a beast for effects but a korg monotron space delay is cheaper and will do the job fine 😊 let me know if it works and have fun with the crave...it is such a great little synth 😎👍❤️

@@BasementArtScott normally the lfo rate and cutoff will do the job in relation to the osc frequency... Add delay etc. I tried different combinations... When playing with keys I often block one note with a battery or little heavy thing 😂...but for the crave, the osc frequency is the key 🤔 I came as a guitar player to synths about 1.5 yrs ago and still learning. Therefore the crave is really good 👍😎 P.s. Play with attack and release, too. In this video I played with the noise section as well.... 🤔😊

Thanks for your comment! I totally understand that opinions differ when it comes to these kinds of discussions, and the topic of clones always sparks debate. It’s nice to try out different gear sometimes. After all not everything fits into my setup. I’ll be moving on from the Model 15 myself as there’s just no room for it right know...but I learned so much from this little synth. Anyway, I was never able to test the real moog... I really miss being able to test instruments in stores like I used to do 20 years ago with my amps, guitars and effects. Right now 95% of my synths are from Korg, and one day I hope to get my hands on a real Korg MS20 or reissue by korg🙄

@@AntaresWaveLabI completely understand. It wasn’t meant to be offensive towards you at all. Honestly, if you want to get close to a g-mom and don’t want to spend the money, get a mavis. I can’t tell the difference between the two sometimes. The g-mom is much more subtle while the mavis has a lot more balls. I bought the Mavis to expand the g-mom but after using it for a while, I use it by itself now. That tiny synth packs a huge punch and the filter/oscillator sounds exactly the same. I compare the two all the time!

As a former guitar player, I´ve switched to electronic music - it’s a whole different world, but it sounds like I am really finding my way. The creative expression I can find in electronic music is amazing...👍😎 Behringer gear just gives me the chance to try things out without spending too much, and I love my Crave and Edge much. Whether the Edge is a copy of the DFAM or not, I can´t say..... I think what matters most is that it works for me right now and helps me finding my sound. Last but not least I stick with the little ones 🤣 The Volcas and the Minilogue XD are my tools for exploring new sounds right now... Thank you for your kind words. Enjoy making music - it really does have the power to open hearts and connect people 👍😊

@@AntaresWaveLab I hear ya! I started on the guitar too! If you like the little synths, the Mavis is perfect for you. I have 4 volcas just sitting here in a sequenz rack that I don’t use at all. It’s the bass, sample, keys and beats. If you want them, float me an offer. I’ll give them to you on the cheap since they’ll be going to somebody who’ll use them. They look cool but take up room at this point.

@@claytonbigsby1119 hey, thanks for the offer. I have the keys, sample2, nubass, bass, drum, FM2 already... and play them soooo often. I like playing in the evenings when kids are in bed and the day is over...with headphones on my couch 😂

🤔The sound is quite simple and doesn't offer the depth that the Volca Bass does, especially since the Volca Bass has three oscillators for detuning and improvisation. However, the NuBass quickly jumps into those acid sounds, making it a better replacement for my Behringer TD-3. Although the TD-3 has a slightly crunchier sound, the NuBass fits my needs better...🙄NuBass sounds a bit darker and bassier, which adds to its appeal as a better fit for me compared to the TD-3 ....

Don't worry - both sound quite different, but they complement each other really well.😎 I love playing with both of them. The Nubass is great for ACID. My Behringer TD-3 sounds a bit sharper, but the tedious programming is gone 🤣🙈

@@AntaresWaveLab I feel like Behringer’s motto is “if we make a replica of every piece of gear ever made, something is bound to work well” 🙃 their modular stuff looks and sound great, and is dumb cheap. Can’t speak to the 8000 other products they make though, definitely hit or miss. I trust Korg 🙏🏻

@@middlesidetopwise Yeah, I first started with the modular ARPOdyssey. Sold it. Then the Microfreak. Sold that too and got the Minilogue XD. A dream. But I never thought the Volcas were worth much. Then I got the Volca Drum because the Behringer RD6 was so cumbersome… sold that too. Now I have several Volcas, and everything works so well and is of such high quality. Only the Crave and Edge are truly brilliant synths. Modular really fascinates me, and right now I’m testing the Behringer Model 15. It’s about 1200 € cheaper than a MOOG. I’ll never be able to afford that… although it does have a better sound. I’m basically just waiting for the Spice to complete my little semi-modular rack, and bam - here comes the Grade out of nowhere. WTF... we’ll see. Korg rules! 🙈🙈🤣
