Jarrod is an absolute beast. His vocals are off the chart, and they sound great together!

Sandy Strallen u r certainly entitled to ur opinion, but your musical perspective about Ms Memory is the most asinine comment ive heard this yr. Not only is her pitch and TONE soulful, her phrasing and delivery is awe inspiring. U must be one helluva musician to have such a brazen outlook on Ms Memory!😂😂
Such a shame that a talented man like Lawson should be saddled with such an appalling choice of singer. As an interesting jazz singer and piano player he deserves someone who isn't just another cliched Sista type, who also pulls horrible faces when she sings and frankly has a voice with absolutely no colour and NO TOP END. A faux funk approach to "dat sanging thang" in this day and age when we can see properly talented and original half-black chanteuses all over youtube and the concert scene. FLAT FLAT FLAT at 4 minutes and she gets no better. Step it up Jarrod and take a properly trained singer off a musical on Broadway rather than just another arriviste backing singer. Has she got information on you or something? You don't need the Black Thang to get credibility andIF you do because you don't think white men can sing the blues then get some better talent in on the BV's whatever you do.

such a shame that singers as talented as jarrod lawson and tahirah memory have to be subjected to the sort of (racist?) bullshit as that submitted here. as someone who has been fortunate enough to see/hear both jarrod and tahirah in performance on numerous occasions, i can state without hesitation that ms. memory is an outstanding singer with a terrific instrument and the skills to be able to use it deftly and effectively.......
