So, if Toki needs to take medicine because he’s diabetic, how is he able to drink beer?
I don't think being diabetic means no booze. Though considering how rich and powerful Dethklok is, it's possible he just gets insanely good medical care (I mean Nathan had several liver transplants to the point where when he vomits blood he just mumbles, "huh guess I need another liver transplant")

Joseph Womer it’s only used to activate the yeast. That amount wouldn’t really amount to much and considering the yeast eats the sugar to ferment the drink it’s probably very minimal, not enough to really do anything I think. Either way my second point stands
