You like zomboid so much you might like a game called Voices of the Void it’s just a demo right now on itch I think, but it’s basically in early access and free to play.
Pet Zombies in the back yard. Thats the best sentence I've heard for PZ in a long while.
Guinea pig
ROlf best episode for the new years hahaaa😂🤣🎉
🤭🤭🥹
I hate this game so much... I'm gonna go play it now.
Have fun!! 😜
Guns can have children???
I’m shocked you didn’t say it 😂. 🎉
It was a close call 😂
Haha schon lange keine Wehrmacht Folge mehr hochgeladen, ich freue mich auf eine neue Besetzung! Petri heil!
I'm definitely watch this later I'm amazed at the cosplay though!
Great cosplay!
This is cool, I also found an in bounds underwater building glitch in multiplayer, if you get shot by a rebar gun over the body of water you end up at the bottom of the body but walk and interact as if you are on land, allowing you to build underwater I said found because I'm sure I wasn't the first to discover it.
omg first 50 mins is basicaly you playing the settings
Not D'nee but rather Duhnee.
ive been trying the online co op and my friend joined me and they arent leveling up im level 3 and they are level 0
Water needs to be full in all the coal refineries and coal needs to be full in all of them and stopped before you start them up usually.
I personaly am playing satisfactory, and im doing spaghetti first and not perfect-ratio compact builds yet because power consumption is what limits you early/mid game.
i may have just noticed the the Pioneer Obligitory Onboarding Program.. spells POOP
Great job! You are super cute!

Sad I missed it live, but thanks for playing it Jess. 👍 I have an intense dislike of clowns, and there is no way I would willingly do anything involving them. So massive respect for being willing to face zombies, just because the 'evil' chat wanted you to. 😁
Glad you enjoyed the VOD! I'm pretty proud of myself for trying to play this anyways ☺️ I want to revisit it again in the future, and maybe I can get 1 room farther!!
i really don't get it how can it basic mechanics are problematic. what a game.
The 3D characters in Myst are a necessity because this is actually Myst VR. Flat recordings don't work when you can physically move around them in VR (or even without VR). As for the endings - beats me. They totally could have used the FMVs for all I know. Maybe too small, quality too bad to show them any bigger than the tiny book windows? Just guessing. The brothers knew the combination, because they knew about that way back to D'ni. They knew Atrus would go there (they lured him there after all, pretending Catherine needed help). Trapping Atrus there by scheming and manipulating his only linking book that he always took with him to get back to Myst, in such a way that he wouldn't notice (removing just one single page to render it useless, plus, worried about his wife). The guy playing Atrus, is also playing Achenar! Yes, same person. (Ah, just got mentioned by viewers). But he can act. His depiction of Atrus is very much intentional as it is. Because, Atrus HADN'T SLEPT in 3 days when you find him. And yes, it is very important he returns to his writing. You're seeing him practicing The Art, trying to stabilize the Age of Riven by patching up after every instability that occurs, in real time. Riven is destroying itself, dooming its inhabitants - including his wife. But he knows he's just prolonging the inevitable, since Riven's fabric is just too unstable to ever be saved, it's been flawed from the start by shoddy writing and getting worse exponentially because of it all now falling apart. As for him giving you his life story like this - he's pressed for time, and the player is the only person that will ever show up, which is already a one in a billion chance. He never expected anyone to show up, probably even thought he might be imagining it due to lack of sleep, but simply couldn't let that one chance slip away. He had no other way or hope to get out of the literal (ba dum tiss) dead end he found himself in. And that's also why he asks for assistance by the player, nobody else will ever come. He can't go into Riven himself, he needs to keep it stable by writing. So he needs another person to help him. The only thing he CAN do in his situation, is trust and hope for the best. No credits for the good ending: Because it's a seamless transition into the continuation, Riven. People skipping through dialogue like that weren't a thing for one, since gamers of old actually appreciated their games (yes, shots fired, very much intentionally). And if they still did skip, then time to learn to deal with the consequences of their actions, I guess. My Myst Obsidian vault is shaping up quite nicely, with all the story points and characters. I've even started to add a few basic things from the novels by now.
First thing: Accessibility is the death of creativity. You can't have everything accessible to everyone, all the time. If you want to force accessibility anyway, you severely limit the creators full reign of creativity, impacting everyone else's experiences because of it. Would you criticize games with movement controls for lacking accessibility, too? Sometimes, games are not about accessibility, but a novel concept like movement, or creativity. Please stop harping on about that point so much. (I know I'm not watching this live, but still.) Back then, even young me never had an issue with either the sound puzzles, or other mechanics. If you pay attention, you will notice the cart sounds being different. Listening closer and repeating them, you will notice they're layered from the sounds you already know, immediately understanding the meaning. And even if you don't, you'll learn them as entirely new sounds just like all the others before, which also works. Granted, I wasn't distracted with streaming when I played, Twitch didn't even exist. Looking up solutions also didn't exist. When I picked up the novels years later (strong recommendation again, hard cover versions are very nice), I also noticed there was a book available, looks like a written journal, and it gives sequential hints like the author is figuring things out so you can follow along, and eventually it's providing the final solution. With the Clock Tower, you already noticed the "weird" controls and could have started experimenting with it in different ways, like you did with the decorative cabinet in Sirrus' room in Stoneship (which was only character background building for Sirrus with no hints of it being a puzzle). Pulling the levers in the original definitely is easier, but also "looks unrealistically weightless". It's definitely a point of critique that the creators thought they needed to change this, leading to every remake being removed further from the original vision, sacrificing it on the "altar of realism" so to speak. The creepy liminal space nature of the worlds also got lost in that translation, which is a shame, because that makes a lot of locations FEEL very different. And the music certainly plays into this, and ALSO, provides certain subtle context clues that you myssed out on without it. That said. When pulling levers IRL, it naturally occurs to you to move them in increments, and / or to hold them. This version of the game is specifically the VR version, which means 1) the world and most puzzles have been overhauled to work in VR, and without bending down. And more importantly 2), these levers would have indeed been "physically" pulled in VR and have as easily resulted in the middle gear spinning as in the original game. So the issue is mostly relating to how they implemented mouse controls, I guess. But still, you let go of the mouse so quick, like you were scared to break something. Get in there! Grab things! Yank stuff! Show the puzzles who's boss! In other news, I have started to use Obsidian to lay out the Myst franchise's story and lore points. I'm incorporating events from both Myst, and Riven already. But I'm limiting the amount of information I document about puzzles and solutions (if at all), since those may change with every playthrough anyway.
3:41:30 "This one's got a curve" Traumatic voice of suffering: "Yeaah, yeah..." That was mildly frustrating to watch. =D It's one of my favorite sections of the game (in the original, you could skip the travel animation time, I think). I found the concept brilliant and never made a map for this section (was interesting seeing one, though). But that approach over-complicated the section massively... =D It's incredibly easy, it just seems intimidating. All you have to do is 1) know reverse lets you return to the start by undoing your moves 2) trust to navigate by ear almost exclusively. Ditch all other ideas. The game's trying to teach the player by constricting their options for directions in the beginning. Cutting the music to emphasize the sound played, conditioning the player to associate it with the correct choice of direction to go next. Clink, it goes, only way to go is north. Spin, it goes, only way is west. Clink again, only way north, once again. New direction opens up with equally new exhaust sound playing, repeating the only possible direction and sound twice. And then, the combined sounds with the diagonals. You either have to let it condition you, or actively notice the pattern. It never actually matters "where you are" at any point there. Since backwards / return acts like hitting backspace after doing a typo, and the progress direction is clear by ear! Just gotta notice that. But, none of my friends ever got through it, to be fair, so my pattern recognition powers may be unique to my autistic qualities. The game really was made to be played with simple paper notes if any at all. Short term memory "Rocket, 59V". Documenting every detail really slowed you down quite a bit! It makes sense for understanding characters, their complex stories and motivations for sure, especially when you get them in snippets. But not so much for simple hints for your immediate next steps. That said, I did download Obsidian, just unsure how much use it'll actually be to me. I feel like it's mostly going to slow me down exactly like it did to you here, since few things are actually complex enough to need a time intensive documentation solution like this applied to them. But I'll see if I can get some use out of it eventually because it's a nice tool if I find the right job for it =) But yeah, Myst. The unsettling, liminal space nature of it is so uniquely gripping. And the lore of the universe and the characters within it are really interesting to uncover. I can recommend the hard cover book novels, they're absolutely gorgeous and go into more depth of The Art of writing Ages and playing god. And the wild contraptions for keeping both the vulnerable age books, and the relatively replaceable linking books safe after you leave them behind, going through.
gunna need a bigger foot. Try a meter next time.
Just found your/this video from a Google search. I'm loving your vibe, nice soft voice, awesome person, (very stunning too). You're definitely a hidden gem on here. Definitely be binge watching your awesome content. Keep it up 🥰👍🏻

3:27:50 Ahh, so that what happened. As I hopped off the stream before this, I wondered what happened that you had to restart within the same stream.

3:36:00 I’ve heard YT allegedly pay more for views from YT Premium than ad views, do they do the same for streams?
I actually don't know the rates for livestreams, or even YT premium vs. normal ad views!
44:04 Take all my money! That you get through my RUclips Red sub, that they’ve just nearly doubled!

Tank controls' movement is relative to Lara, the modern controls' movement is relative to the environment. In tank, you push forward and Lara will go forward no matter which direction she is pointing and is independent of the camera. I've been playing modern games for 20 years, and even I got used to tank controls. It works for this game engine, and it will feel easier as you play. I did remap the buttons though. I made jump X, walk square, draw weapons left trigger, and changed the dead zone and sensitivity to suit me so I can use the left stick to run around. I'm new to these games, and enjoying them (using tank) and now 1/3 way thru the second game. Enjoy!
I used to play with tank controls when I was younger. Strangely, the tank controls sometimes give me sim sickness due to the camera's behavior. They are necessary for certain puzzles though, so I swapped between them later in the series.
@@woahhjess_ Sorry about then.
(fearful laugh): Wolves climbing *slaps knee* good joke that's a kicker!= terrified inside XD I never thought I'd say this, I really wish Tomb Raider classics had the very annoying are you sure you want to over write and are you sure you want to load.) With these games I do so freaking often on accident (persona 3 reload too) and then I have to redo hours worth of game play or do a tough part again.
that's so frustrating! It's really far too easy to get save/load mixed up, isn't it? 😅
@@woahhjess_yup yup. I’m not feeling bad about saving every few steps. I must be getting comfy since I’m being a bit dangerous with saves again.
Game logic strikes again! I too am waiting for the day that I can fully switch to Linux. I've been fed up with windows since Windows 7 ended.
I think I may try it one day, just install it on a partition and test to see if all my streaming software can run!
Im sorry, but the not save made that death hilarious. I seriously do not understand my fear with this game. Even as an adult I struggle more when the enemies are dead vs when they are alive. I'm currently stuck because i'm scared when looking for the exit XD. And your probably right its the atmosphere. I'm someone that gets super immersed very easy and often will forget its just game.
I'm glad you liked it 🤣 I still need to go back and finish it, but it's so spooky! I also get *really* immersed when I play
I must have hopped in just after this. Even if I ever get to meet you all in the same place I won't believe it. You not being the same person I'm calling magical shenanigans. XD
I think you popped in right after that, yup!!
Sucks that first fortress kept crashing. Looked crazy good! (in fact it's why I clicked the thumbnail) Great work though!
Thanks!! I really loved making that fort. I updated my DF playlists so that Coldanvil (the fortress I was showing off) has its own playlist 😁 👉🏼 ruclips.net/p/PLs-j-0gEiSn-NwCX18zGRrtV5gnzmEAIL
From now on Babarian you will be known as DIEbabarian as a reminder of your foolish challenges! Ra!
JK: Are you really playing a city sim if you don’t delete stuff constantly?
I haven’t played this yet. I didn’t realize you could knock your companion over. Sad detail, but nice detail ❤.
And this is why i prefer easy to read menus with an easy to read navigation. 😂
Well, yeah... DF menu navigation is an interesting case, that's for sure!
And I realize I have way more videos I need to watch besides the Civ 6 playlist 🎉.
There are PLENTY of them!! 🤣

well, now I want to see if an LLM AI can beat this...
I'm absolutely unsure just how possible that might be 🤣 That's a big step up from just using a note-taking tool 🤔
When she mad, she make a fist, When she need help, she ask for assist! But most important! She enjoys the game of Myst!
