Yes working for 2$ and being treated like a peasant gets old. Especially when they leave you next to nothing. The people who smile and try to give a great experience are always overlooked. We don't expect a million dollars, but a lot goes on in the service industry for people to disrespect the people who make sure your food is good. I talked to my server with respect, I tell he/she exactly what I want and the rest is up to them. If they look out for me, I'll look out for them. I've been on both sides. All servers don't have the same intentions. Some will not do anything for you and expect a tip. Just recognize the difference.
