I love how nothing is ever said about how to actually properly place the trains on the tracks and have them work. I have a N700A Shinkansen in the game, but I have no idea how to actually place it on the tracks correctly. I know how to spawn it in. I also know how to replace the models with OpenIV, but there are never any guides on how to correctly spawn them on the tracks like in this video.

There are a handful of oddities that I’d hope the mod dev’s would be willing to fix. 1- The track being placed on the shoulder of a major interstate is more than a tad unrealistic. One stupid NPC could ruin your whole trip too. 2- The GM Aerotrain did not have green headlights. The Aerotrain has one marker light in the center that was red, and then one on each side of the nose. The other four lights were actually headlights. 3- This is more for OP. While the Pennsylvania Railroad did have a GM Aerotrain, it never operated the west coast. Its service was short lived, and limited to between New York City and Pittsburgh on the east coast. Even after it was sent to the cutters torch, it was scrapped and all materials and parts were reused locally. However, the Union Pacific Railroad, a west coast based railroad with trackage all over Southern California, did in fact have a GM Aerotrain they operated. Using its livery instead would’ve made the video more engaging for viewers who, im certain, are Railfans or other enthusiasts who would notice things like this.
