    I have a B9.5 and about to attempt this purely because Audi has given me a 2 month appointment wait and I can see water getting in to the car if heavy rain hit. Really appreciate the research you've done and how detailed the video is. You sir, are a gentleman 🤝

    Nice video I have a 2019 Sportback. I closed my door and heard a little clank. Noticed the window dropped a little, wouldn’t go up or down much. I was able to freely slide the window with my hands not problem. I pushed it down not thinking now it’s fully in the door. Assuming the regulator is shot correct? Not sure what else it would be

      @@nickmannino8466 Yessir, definitely the regulator. As long as the motor continues to turn with the push of the button, then it is for sure the regulator. I had mine “clank” or “snap” when going over a speed bump… Description will have the part number and such. I would search around and find better pricing. Some areas run deals on parts. I would also only suggest genuine Audi parts for this type of repair.

      @ did the job it took me maybe an hour. I thought the window went all the way up however at speed I hear the slightest wind noise. Not sure how to adjust it

      @@nickmannino8466 @5:54 you will see how to fix this. I had the same problem my first go around. You have to adjust the position of the bolt as a part of the install. So, sadly you will have to undo a good bit and adjust the height of the bolt. Best thing is to check where it was on your previous regulator by seeing the etching in the plastic.

    Great video all went smooth thanks. But the window is just off going all the way up by just a few mm to fully seal. Is that in adjustment from the install or can reset any ideas as already did the window reset?

      Yes. It does. You can refer to the technician document in the description. As long as all the parts look the same, it should be the same process.

    The driver's side window of my car was going down slower than the passenger window and I was thinking about opening the whole panel to see what was happening. Then I found how to sync the glasses again. However, you made an excellent video. Thank you!

    3:04 you mention to loose top bolt completely and bottom bolt 3 turns, 4:06 does all the bolts need to be tightened all the way or loose on the bottom? Thank you

    • @garrettgools
      @garrettgools 5 месяцев назад

      Yes, all 4 nuts* need to be tightened down fully after installation. (Torque Specs: 7.5 Nm - or - 5.5ft-lbs) I went in a cross pattern when tightening them to avoid any torquing/turning of the regulator. Even though that probably isn't necessary. *sorry, I put bolts in the video but meant nuts - I recorded this and edited it a couple months later and forgot
