    Hello, Holger have a better backhand than forehand ?

  • @ruggierojerolli
    @ruggierojerolli 4 месяца назад

    The secret of his forehand is his "late acceleration". But within it of course there are other important aspects linked. A few are able to achieve this. Maybe Sinner is the one. 1. To understand "late acceleration" easily just watch the opposite, the earliest accelerators eg Etcheverry or Mannarino. Sinner accelerates slowly at the beginning then from his elbow and forward to the ball his accelerates brutally 2. THE ELBOW. His 2nd linked secret. It's impossible to get what Sinner does had he started from a high or mid high elbow ala most players. His elbow controls all his stroke and timing. He may take his elbow somehow backwards at the befinning BUT his talent is that he then aligns it low enough at chest level and then from that point onwards he accelerates it at max speed to impact the ball with his elbow markedly out in front OF HIS PECTORALS (or mid belly for low balls). Forget about the classic and trite concept "hit out in front" ; just watch his elbow bone from rear or side view. It's like a crosspunch or jab way ahead. It's only (out) there in front when his elbow slaps at the impact and MAKES THE TOPSPIN SO CONFORTABLY & SAFELY. And WATCH him how he always gets ample room between his upper arm and his side trunk. Always plenty of room in there to accelerate freely forwards. 3. It's impossible to perform the aforementioned if he doesn't hit the ball while on its rise, before the apex and preferably at midway or before (Such a sync!!. Maybe this is the hardest to achieve for any mortal even a pro). At the point of max height or past it none of the above is achievable. It would be a mess of timing and hitting late.🤮 4. It's indispensable to have the ball at your side ALWAYS. Sinner is an outperforming mover so he's always moving around the ball to have it at his right side. Seems obvious but Sinner seems to have the incoming ball kind of far at his right and then he gets close to it with the perfect distance helped by his non hitting arm (watch this topic in the documentary in youtube in italian when Riccardo Piatti trains him. It's from some years ago) 5. He has to have that known posture of the high tops. Ala Djokovic. That is his body always leaning forward so his elbow structure goes forward , say helped by gravity. 6. His trademark position of his radical inverted racquet serves to stop his elbow from going any further and acts as an "automatic brake" within a short and low range of distance. Not like the unnatural nexgen high elbow takeback and racquet position ala Kyrgios, old Thiem, Evans or Kokinnakis that impairs a sound forehand. 7. Sinner has an extraordinary reading of every incoming ball to have all of the above set up and ready to go forward with his body and elbow, of course more forwards than maybe all of the players. Perhaps only Djokovis applies part of that but evindently not entirely. All of the above was the gift Riccardo Piatti delivered to Jannik Sinner since he discovered and trained him since a very tender age.

    Rune's forehand is much more modern and efficient... Uses non hitting arm as a real balance when A doesn't... Rune does not allow the racquet to freely fall (kind of like dropping it in a good two handed backhand), but keeps it more tight and therefore is ready to do windshield wiper movement to generate full power and topspin... Will try change mine to that movement ... Requires excellent timing of course...
