Why'd they even add emp grenades in zombies?
i mean conceptually theyre really cool, you can EMP zombies and pacify them to a slower state then a crawler + its specifically for killing avogadro. however all that stupid other bullshit it can do (EMP yourself, turn perks off, cancel the box/packapunch) were mainly both for grief mode and to make the EMPs less useful regularly which is awful.

Idk how I did it, but one time near the games release I threw a EMP near the jug stairs between the wall and semi truck at just the wrong time because it caused a soft lock. No more zombies spawned and sprinting didn’t bring any more. A few people will probably remember because it was an online 4 person. My theory is that I stunned a zombie who was underground and spawned in but didn’t climb up yet, so it couldn’t wake up because we were above its level and it didn’t come up because it was stunned.

@@praisetheSun990 Actually, you can tell the current map in the video is "Town" from Green Run is because of where the perk "Double Tap Root Beer II" and "Tombstone" is located. The MP5 wall-buy can also be seen in this footage at 0:06. As he goes near the Mystery Box, you can clearly see that the Semtex Grenade door is automatically open without needing the assistance of a Wind Turbine. The Olympia wall-buy can also be seen here too. As the player, is faintly running towards the Mystery Box, you can see the Pack-a-Punch machine in the distance right on top of the lava pool.

if you throw an emp at a perk the perk stops working you could also do this to cancel the box and im pretty you can do it to pack a punch aswell
