Nice! Majorly improved tracking. The fight choreography at the auction house needed a lot of work, but the one at the dockyard was exactly the right visual direction. For stealth choreography, try to never use the same type of takedown twice in a row. This is especially important in Spider-Man to avoid abusing perch takedowns. Webbed up enemies are also considered blinded, so you can use that time to close the distance and set them up for a cool combo. If you really want to push the limits of the visual direction, try to never use the same type of takedown twice *per encounter.* Check out Maceonik to see just how incredible this looks. Traversal is still way too distant, so I think in-game camera is the solution here. Establishing shots of the neighborhood have no place in the middle of an action scene. If you're trying to play dialogue over a transition make sure no major sound effects get caught in the recording. I wonder if you could rig up a variant of selfie mode that works in motion and just sort of glues itself to Spider-Man's face so we can get some nice personal shots when he's talking to someone while swinging. Maybe ask a modder. There are also a few shots in vanilla cutscenes where you just seem to forget to use focus, making them look very flat compared to everything else. The pulls and pushes were very well thought out and even managed to improve some vanilla cutscenes. You're going too far cutting lines to tighten the pacing, though. Let the scene naturally conclude and then take your time getting to the next one. The city vibes of the transitions are immaculate, but they're over way too soon. As New York changes over the course of the story, the feel of these will change too. Pay attention to how civilians say different lines as certain plot points are introduced. The way this game gets you to care about the city and the people in it is part of what makes it hit so hard I'm a fan of adding new music tracks to transition scenes and quiet parts (with care of course), but the rescores hurt the existing vibe and cause problems for harmonic continuity. Here for example the jazz robbed the tension from the truck almost hitting Spider-Man, which monumentally plot-critical because we have to believe Jeff deserves to be honored for saving his life. If the game already has a score in place, it's probably perfectly timed to correspond with action beats and play character motifs when they come onscreen

Ugh, this is so promising but so frustrating, cause it's like 50% pure cinema and 50% clunky static freecam work. The depth is obviously an issue, but more importantly we need to be tracking where Spider-Man is - he's the *main character* after all. If he's suddenly zipped onto the ceiling then we need to whip up to the ceiling with him. For camera lag try to keep him right at the edge of the frame and no further, like the cameraman's reaction times are just *barely* quick enough to keep up with him. Offscreen combat mostly says comedy especially at this fast of a pace unless you really know what you're doing, so rely on this trope minimally. What resolution are you shooting at? With 4K you can crop in up to 4x and create fake tracking shots. Why does the aspect ratio keep changing? The game should have native framing for cutscenes in 2.40:1 since it supports ultrawide monitors. What I learned from Arkham Knight is not to be afraid of in-game camera, there's a lot you can do with it. Spider-Man especially benefits from scripted framing on every takedown, and there are mods you can get to make the default framing more dynamic. For movment you can use short bursts of slow mo to highlight flashy moves like flip overs and give yourself time to manipulate the camera. You may also consider experimenting with a little perspective like TASM1 using the first person mod, just make sure to crop out any janky animations. Look for a more grounded, slow paced physics mod to reduce the jittery motion caused by certain movement techniques. That instant charge jump looks great in gameplay showcases, but it's creating some difficult to solve tracking problems for you. Experiment with turning on and off automatic rotation. Lobok VonZuben has some good examples of what you can achieve with this I think you also need to be asking yourself what we're supposed to be looking at and feeling for each shot, and how those connect to each other. Your vignettes are really creative, but they're often confusing. The slow mo demonstrations of police heroism say to feel sad for their casualties, but the combat jump cuts say comedy, and they abruptly transition into each other. You sometimes take the maxim of not being afraid of being out of focus a little too far, and we find ourselves focusing on random objects that have nothing to do with the story while action happens in the background or staring at walls for extended periods of time. Always ask how this shot progresses the story. First Spider-Man swings around the bottom of the bridge, then Fisk smashes out the bridge as he lands on it, but Spider-Man webs him up in midair - the end. At no point in this story is an ottoman or a half-destroyed wall important People shouldn't be talking over each other. Trying to squeeze audio logs into gameplay timing is really ambitious, I had trouble figuring out how to do exactly this in The Killing Joke. The vibes and timing in the intro were impeccable, but later on we get the Jameson show used as both dialogue and a sound effect at the same time and a rap song playing over a key emotional moment, making it difficult to determine which audio track our ears are supposed to be following. Feel free to slow down the pacing with more traversal footage so these moments have time to breathe - web swinging can be adrenaline pumping, relaxing, triumphant, it all depends on how you frame and edit it, making it highly versatile for reflecting on different kinds of plot beats. Also Yuri is barely in this episode. I know she's largely used as a tutorial character, but don't forget about establishing important relationships when planning your scene structure. I also have a hard time taking Peter's new face seriously. He always looks about five years younger than he's supposed to
