A good explanation but the demonstration is... lacking. I'm moreso a visual learner so in the end, just reading and seeing the functions being typed out... the most I get out of it is sort of seeing how code blocks are structured but not knowing what they actually end up doing. Just seeing a bunch of text on my screen is worthless to really know what's going on. But it'll have to do I suppose.

Hey mate. I struggle with these timers on Algalon in wotlk classic. You see the problem is that once u pull Algalon (you enter combat), however the boss fight dosnt start until 10 after u hit combat. Is there a way I can adjust the timer so the count starts from -10sec instead of from 0 sec? :) Much thanks in advance mate.

so i have a question, would a combat timer be abel to display what spells to cast during a serten timeline, so for intance at 58 sec it will pop up at let me know to cast barrier then at 2.22 min it will pop up and say cast rupture followed by an icon that showes power word shield ?

Is there a way to use the custom option as a trigger without checking every frame?

hello, i have created wa trigger when i use one spell and made trigger timed for 60 second , my problem is after i cast spell again this trigger retriggers and start counting 60 seconds again, is there any way to stop retriggering before countdown timer is active?

Hey I have this combat timer WA but at the moment it triggers on combat with any enemy. I want to change it to only trigger on bosses in dungeons/raids. Do you know of a way this can be done? Thanks

I really want to get into using this option, my LUA knowledge is trash though. Is there a resource anywhere that will go into more detail on how I could use the options more on display/triggers? A basic example I’d love to see is if I have a progress texture, how to select the foreground colour of it via the custom options.

I am trying to use the custom options to show toggle menu-chosen text on the screen and I'm not sure how to go about it. Example: You select, in custom options, that on BOSS1 you do X and Y, out of options X Y Z. I then want a text display that says X and Y when you target BOSS1.

So how do you make it so that when you change a custom option, a WA variable changes? For instance, I have custom options created for numerical values. Now I want to change the maximum progress of a progress bar to match that numerical value entered in custom options. I also have one for enable/disable.

Is it possible to toggle a weakaura with a butonpress? i press f5 and it unloads, i press f5 again, and it loads again. After hours and hours of research I still couldnt find an answer. If someone knows, i´d be really thankful and happy : )

Good stuff! I've had this idea for some time to organize healing CD assignments through WA with some kind of send&receive setup. So basically I have a "sender WA" where i can assign certain healing CD:s with either a combat timer or BW/DBM message or whatever is most suitable as a trigger and it will in turn trigger a text/icon in the "receiver WA". Preferably it should distinguish between healers so only the resto shaman will see the notification to use healing tide for example. The purpose of the WA is to remove healing assignements from the Angry assignment so the remaining 15ppl in the raid don't have to see it and also to remind players when their CD is to be used. I have a good idea on how to do most of the WA myself but frankly i have no clue on how the communication is done. So thats my suggestion for a video, how to send&receive information between weakauras :)
